Shows quarters at relocation centers in Arkansas and at Heart Mountain, Wyo. The Nisei attend schools, hold elections, and produce crops (under irrigation) at the centers. Released Nisei work in a sugar beet field, on an Illinois farm, in a machine shop, a candy factory, etc. Nisei soldiers run through an obstacle course at Camp Shelby, Miss. Includes parts of three newsreels: Gen. Mark Clark decorates the 100th Inf. Bn. in Italy; Nisei troops of the 442nd Combat Team rescue a "lost" battalion of the 141st Inf. Reg't in France; Nisei troops fire artillery in France.
