Then she brought the silky bundle back to her retreat. Her body length was 8mm. Late-June 2010 in Japan. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/9AHWUmA5eDklg2pa9JNilA?feat=directlink 若い杉の木立の横に張られた条網（ちょうど目線の高さ）で細長い体つきのクモが獲物をラッピングしていました。馴染みのあるオナガグモにしては第一脚が太く、初めて見るクモです。獲物は既に糸で簀巻きにされていて正体不明。先に捕まえた獲物の小さな包みを触肢で抱えながら、第4脚で交互に糸を引き出しています。太い第一脚で上下の糸に掴まっています。残る第2、3脚で獲物を保持し、回しながら梱包していきます。ラッピングが済むと一個にまとめた包みを咥え、杉の葉下の隠れ家に運びました。このとき頭に載せて運ぶのが本種の特徴らしいです。条網に梳いた糸が見えます。粘着糸が縮れたものかな？　撮影後にクモを一時捕獲して調べてみると、マネキグモ♀亜成体と判明（体長8㎜）。次回は名前の由来となった手招き動作を見てみたいものです。 Tags: prey, silk, single-line, spider, web, wrap, ラッピング, マネキグモ, ウズグモ科, クモ, 捕食, 条網, 梱包, 獲物, 蜘蛛, 運搬 1 Downloads - Last from: (Your Blog here!)
