Wolfman By ItaUniversalpictures Ispirato al film della Universal che inaugurò una tradizione di classici horror, The Wolfman esplora le origini di una inesorabile maledizione. Il premio Oscar® Benicio Del Toro interpreta Lawrence Talbot, un nobile tormentato, che in seguito alla scomparsa di suo fratello, fa ritorno nella proprietà di famiglia, da dove mancava da lungo tempo. Lì Talbot ritrova suo padre (il premio Oscar® Anthony Hopkins) e nel corso delle sue indagini per ritrovare il fratello, scoprirà lorribile fato che incombe su tutti loro. L'infanzia di Lawrence Talbot era finita alla morte di sua madre. Dopo aver abbandonato il sonnolento villaggio di Blackmoor, Talbot aveva trascorso anni e anni a cercare di dimenticare il passato. Ma quando la fidanzata di suo fratello, Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), lo rintraccia per chiedergli aiuto, Talbot decide di tornare a casa. Al suo ritorno scopre che un essere dalla forza bruta e assetato di sangue sta mietendo vittime fra gli abitanti di Blackmoor e che un sospettoso ispettore di Scotland Yard di nome Aberline (Hugo Weaving) è giunto sul luogo per indagare.
