The sealed area is then pressurised through the fill/pressure port with either liquid or gas to the required test pressure. Hydraulic actuation allows Internal Joint Testing tools to be deployed to remote positions in the line. Tools can be used in vertical, horizontal and inclined piping. Bend negotiation can be achieved by fitting specially designed insertion equipment. Operating equipment including pumps, extension hoses, pressure monitoring equipment and insertion extensions are also available.
