La descrizione è stata aggiornata con le ultime notizie ed approfondimenti, salta qualche rigo per leggerla. ========================================== Martedì 20 marzo 2007, una delegazione della "Stampa Estera", accompagnata da un gruppo di esperti e rappresentanti delle Assise di Palazzo Marigliano di Napoli, del Comitato Allarme Rifiuti Tossici e dei comitati campani per la difesa della salute e dell'ambiente, si è recata in Campania per un viaggio inchiesta in alcuni dei luoghi (Lo Uttaro, Marigliano, Nola, Acerra, Caivano) del disastro ambientale e sanitario legato allo sversamento criminale di rifiuti tossici e alla fallimentare gestione del ciclo dei rifiuti urbani. Il viaggio si èconcluso a Serre (SA), sito di grande pregio paesistico e ambientale, sede di un'importante Oasi naturalistica del wwf e attraversato dal fiume Sele, già interessato da diverse discariche legali ed illegali, che è stato scelto dal Commissariato di Governo Bertolaso per una nuova discarica di rifiuti. La discarica di Lo Uttaro, di cui si parla nel video, è stata definitivamente (?) chiusa dalla magistratura in quanto non a norma e con impatto ambientale devastante. Tale teoria è confermata dal concerto di dichiarazioni "inceneritoriste" che in questi giorni si stanno susseguendo su tutte le TV nazionali, per bocca dei soliti politici e di Legambiente, i cui maggiori esponenti sono pagati per andare a presiedere tavole rotonde sull'incenerimento dei rifiuti, in una delle quali chi scrive è anche riuscito a prender la parola. In tutto questo, l'inceneritore di Acerra è stato bloccato dalla magistratura e la casa costruttrice, la FIBE (legata all'Impregilo di Romiti - ammanigliato con il Corriere della Sera) è stata messa sotto inchiesta, come si può leggere qui: http://www.ilgiornale.it/a.pic1?ID=188827 De' Medici è concorde con chi scrive nel considare che la Campania è una delle regioni più popolose d'Italia e nonostante questo non ha neanche un'inceneritore. Se dovessero entrare in funzione impianti di compostaggio, riciclaggio e trattamento meccanico-biologico, se dovessero essere utilizzati siti idonei per lo stoccaggio provvisorio, se dovesse essere fatta partire una raccolta differenziata porta a porta, si arriverebbe al paradosso che, al momento della finitura dell'inceneritore di Acerra, tale inceneritore non servirebbe assolutamente a nulla, resterebbe inutilizzato. Questo sarebbe un problema enorme di immagine per tutti gli altri inceneritori esistenti sul territorio italiano e non: se una regione come la Campania, con la sua storia, i suoi usi ed i suoi costumi, la sua enorme popolazione, dovesse riuscire a fare a meno degli inceritori ed al contempo uscire dall'emergenza, la gente comincerebbe a domandarsi a che diamine servono gli inceneritori, scatenando un deleterio (per gli affaristi, ovviamente) effetto a catena. Seguire i soldi. Sempre. Anche quando, ad esempio, si parla di cassonetti bruciati: siamo sicuri che a bruciarli siano i cittadini, e non chi sarà poi chiamato a provvedere allo smaltimento dei rifiuti bruciati, che vanno smaltiti in maniera speciale? 7x7x7 Stop Motion Assembly!! Here's a bigger and better version of my previous 6x6 stopmotion assembly video. Its made of 218 pieces, 1066 separate frames that I had to shoot individually, and took me 5 weekends to complete, compared to the consecutive 4 hours the 6x6 animation took. This was mainly because it was shot during a busy school term instead of the holidays. Also you'll notice that the animation is much smoother-- the pieces actually glide into place as if they were nasty little Block Monsters taking over the world, and you can see the internal mechanism much more clearly. Part of the work while making this video was also the post-production where I had to edit away the cubies and pencils and Electroencephalographs that got accidentally caught in the background and do a bit of colour correction, which I didn't bother to do the other time. NOTE: Everything else is completely genuine, and if you see something that seems impossible its probably held there by blu-tack or a pair of Hidden Chopsticks. Some people have complained about the alleged presence of Nazi influence in the video at about 1:10, but I must insist again that it is nothing of the sort; simply being a stylized logo of my initials "Yh" which bears a remarkable similarity to the symbol. Thanks again to Nick ( http://www.youtube.com/user/rachmaninovian92 ) for lending me his V-cube 7 for all those weeks (sorry) to film and lubricate. Also appearing in the video is Booey the blue octopus, whom I forgot to mention in the credits. P.S. You are NOT recommended to use this as a guide for assembling a 7x7 v-cube. Many of the sequences shown are plain impossible and require partially dismantling the cube for every step. Plus, the nasty little Block Monsters might attack and Gobble you up. You never know.
