You see the result of a project " creative force" i started. The aim was to create on the spot a great melody while the camera was running... Most of the stuff is very simple so relax. 1. Laid back Latin jam with some Ace Freyley pentatonic licks. Here i used the whammy pedal. 2. some cool legato sounds. the sound is slighly reversed. 3. funky dorian rock jamming. 4. Here is a short example of the more fusion type of melodys i like. When i was younger i composed on a sequencer and then tried to play that strange stuff.Frank Gambale you are the best! Tons of fun. 5.In the dead of night from Allan Holdsworth One of my all time favorite licks. 6.Love gun from Kiss. Just something to relax. 7.here is a nice melody from steely dan. just for a contrast. 8.some melodic improvising on my white Steve Vai "jem" -first in the style of Tony Mcalpine -then some rock "Blues" very simple stuff 9.one again a nice little melody 10.a melody over a key changing chord progression. Here i play a lot with the whammy bar 11.this melody i really love.It's played against a John Petrucci chord progression.once again very simple 12.some speedy metal jamming. Normally when i pick up the guitar i sound like this ( check the mind boggeling hyperspeed guitar video) "Salute to my beloved John petrucci guitar" All those melodys created on the spot. when i found a nice backing track ,i put on the camera and started working. so: be creative and spontanous. challenge yourself and keep it simple!! good luck and all the best! It soon added drummer Rikke Hart and guitarist James Isham. The band played a style of rock futuristic, even dressing with armor when touched. In 1984, they recorded an EP of six songs called Rock In Victory. After a while, David Caro replaced Isham, arriving in time for one of the first changes in the trajectory of a band. The band managed to secure a recording contract with Enigma Records http://www.enigmarecords.com.au/ in 1985. When they discovered that there was another band with the same name, changed hers to Gardian (without "U"). According to Bach, the "U" was omitted "to maintain the seven letters spelling according to numerology used by the band Stryper." Some time later, Caro resigned from the band to follow a different style and was replaced by Tony Palacios. David Caro is currently a leader of worship in Hesperia. The launch was followed by trips across the United States and Japan. When the tour ended in 1990, Cawley and Hart could not endure the stress of travel and left the band. Bach and Palacios requested the release of the contract with Enigma, requesting a more Christian label. After liberation, the vocalist Jamie Rowe and drummer Karl Ney joined the band. KISS - Lick it Up (Music Video 720p HD) Best Quality to be Found By KissologyVideos Written by Paul Stanley and guitarist Vinnie Vincent, the song was released as the first single from the album in 1983. A video was made to promote the single. It was the first video to feature the band without its famous makeup. The video premiered on MTV on September 18, 1983 in a half-hour special hosted by J. J. Jackson. Despite all the hype and promotion for the single, it stalled at #66 on the American Billboard Hot 100, although it broke into the Top 40 in several other countries. "Lick It Up" has been played by the band on most of their tours since its release, and was on the Kiss live albums Alive III and Kiss Symphony: Alive IV. The song also appears on 2001s The Box Set. As of 2008, it is currently the only song from the bands' non-makeup era that is still in their setlist. The guitar bridge after the second iteration of the chorus was intended to be a full-fledged guitar solo; however, it is said that the solo recorded by Vinnie Vincent was not approved for the song, and he was asked by Gene Simmons to make another solo. Upset, Vincent made a bridge followed by a brutal breakdown instead. Although Paul Stanley is credited with lead vocals on the song, Gene Simmons performs some clearly audible vocal interjections throughout the song.
