La desolacion del lugar se ve reflejada en el rostro del protagonista por la perdida de este lugar que sirve como un simil a la perdida de la pareja y la destruccion de esa relacion. Cada objeto que va saliendo de casa simboliza algo para la pareja. La desolacion del lugar es una analogia de lo que es en ese momento su relacion, ya desgastada, que se ha ido destruyendo poco a poco, de igual forma como poco a poco se va vaciando el lugar. Lo que alguna vez construyeron juntos, ahora esta acabado, ha sido demolido y no queda mas que el dolor por el final de un amor, que ya nada lo puede salvar, ni la luz del sol a medianoche, ni el cuarto menguante de la luna de adorno o el agua endulzada del mar contra la sed: COMO DUELE.
