Candy llega a Guadalajara y cambia de look, al pasar frente a una limosnera, le regala su anillo de compromiso. Candy se encuentra con su tío Meño, le cuenta lo sucedido. Trascurre el tiempo. Nace la hija de Santiago. Candy le pide a Meño que les diga a sus padres que murió, él lo hace. Patricio lleva las supuestas cenizas de Candy a Teotihuacan. Candy recibe la noticia de que está embarazada. Paulina le advierte a Santiago que es más importante su carrera que su hija. El bebé de Candy nace y se llama Salvador. Santiago encuentra una carta de Paulina, quien le informa que se ha ido a Nueva York. Alicia y Patricio se casan en Las Vegas. Santiago, quien se encuentra en Guadalajara con su hija y su sobrina, pisa una popó de perro, mientras que Candy busca un taxi desesperada. Santiago cree que la perrita es de Candy, levanta la popó y se la da en la mano, de pronto llega la dueña de la perrita, por lo que Santiago se da cuenta de su error, se disculpa con Candy, pero ésta le embarra la mejilla con suciedad de la perrita.
