I wanted to talk about Uganda and give you the views of someone who understands the situation first hand. Rosebell Kagumire is a journalist out of Kampala, Uganda, and she has allowed me to share her views with you in this video. 1 The first issue Rosebell raises is how Invisible Children simplified the story of conflict in Northern Uganda. 2 Next she discusses how Invisible Children misinformed people in their KONY2012 video and how they did not provide information on the current situation. 3 Rather than sensationalizing, Rosebell offers insight on how else to approach the issue. 4 And finally, she acknowledges good intention but does not agree with Invisible Children's simplification.
