Il suo progetto musicale è volto alla riscoperta e reivenzione della tradizione della Taranta, danza rituale del Sud d'Italia, dalle origini antichissime. Una danza liberatoria, che risente delle suggestioni mediterranee dei ritmi greci e degli echi musicali nord e medio-orientali. E' il suono della terra salentina, all'estremo meridionale della penisola italiana: il cosiddetto "tacco dello stivale", tra il litorale brindisino, il golfo di Taranto e Leuca, "finibus terrae".
