Supercell Thunderstorm & Evening Lightning- McCook, NE June 8th, 2007 In early June 2007 Dave Lewison and I flew back out to tornado alley for a quick spot chase and met up with fellow Canadian storm chasers, Mark Robinson & George Kourounis. This was the last day of that chase trip and after parting ways with George and Mark, we encountered a dying supercell thunderstorm near McCook, NE on the evening of June 8th. We followed this storm until after sunset, and were treated to an amazing lightning display just outside the town of McCook. We stayed the night in McCook and then continued back on towards Denver where we hopped our flight back to NYC. Hope you enjoy the video!
