Apollo 4 By Gordouxx This is the famous NASA footage filmed during the Saturn V staging (filmed from the second stage). Apollo 4 was the first launch of the Saturn 5 moon rocket. The footage is usually attributed to Apollo 8, or Apollo 11. Some of this sequence was incorporated into the opening titles of Star Trek 'Enterprise'. Test Opel Zafira OPC By infotechtcs Christina Surer präsentiert in der Motorshow TCS den neuen Opel Zafira OPC. Exterieur Die leistungsstarken OPC-Modelle von Opel sind in der Schweiz sehr gefragt, mehr als in anderen Ländern. Die neueste Kreation, der Zafira, gilt als der schnellste Serien-Van Europas. In unserer Testversion kostet er 56'640 Franken. Von Aussen sieht man die klassischen OPC-Merkmale, die Beschriftung hinten und auf den Seiten. Hinzu kommen die 17-Zoll-Felgen und die blaulackierten Bremssättel. Nicht fehlen dürfen die Seitenschweller und der Dachspoiler am Heck - und natürlich die OPC-typische Auspuffanlage. Die Front des OPC mit dem vielen Chrom wirkt auffallend aggressiv, gefällt aber sehr gut. Im Kofferraum finden 1820 Liter Gepäck Platz, sobald die hinteren zwei Sitzreihen unten sind. Diese lassen sich übrigens schnell und einfach versenken. Interieur Innen gefallen in erster Linie die gute Übersicht und die sportlichen Recarositze, die einen ausgezeichneten Seitenhalt bieten. Mehr Mühe bereitet der Tacho. Zum Teil sind die Zahlen, wie beispielsweise die 50-km/h-Marke, viel zu klein geschrieben. Umso praktischer und griffiger ist dafür die Handbremse. Da hat man noch etwas in der Hand, fast wie im Flieger. Technik Die Kraft des getrimmten Turbomotors merkt man bei jeder Beschleunigung. Der 2.0-Liter mit 320 Nm Drehmoment leistet starke 240PS - 40 PS mehr als die sportlichste Version des Opels Zafira. Diese zusätzliche Kraft bringen die OPC-Ingenieure mit dem Sportfahrwerk IDSPlus2 auf die Strasse. Dazu gehören straffe Stossdämpfer und eine Hochleistungsbremsanlage. Das Sicherheitspaket umfasst ferner Front- und Seitenairbags für Fahrer und Beifahrer. Interessant sind auch die aktiven Kopfstützen. Fahrverhalten Der Opel Zafira OPC weist trotz des Gewichtes von 1,6 Tonnen ein gutes Fahrverhalten auf. Die elektrohydraulische Lenkung vermittelt einen guten Kontakt zur Strasse. Unebenheiten und Rillen werden vom Fahrwerk komfortabel kaschiert. Auch in den Kurven ist die Strassenlage dank des Fahrwerks und der Kurvenbremskontrolle jederzeit beherrschbar. Weniger durchdacht sind die Aussenspiegel. Sie sehen zwar stylish aus, sind aber für so ein grosses Auto zu klein. Fazit Der Zafira OPC ist und bleibt ein Van - viel Leistung hin oder her. Für lange Strecken eignet er sich bestens. Komfort und Fahrverhalten überzeugen. Leider haben die Aussenspiegel nicht wirklich die Grösse, die zu so einem Auto passt. Und das Ablesen der Geschwindigkeit ist wegen der kleinen Zahlen nicht ganz einfach. Trotzdem kommt mit dem Kompaktvan eine ganze Grossfamilie auf ihre Kosten. Es hat genügend Platz und auch der Familienvater kommt dank der OPC-Sportlichkeit nicht zu kurz.
