TECKTONIK BOGOTA COLOMBIA By raskaelito EL TIEMPO Si usted va a un centro comercial y ve un grupo de jóvenes con pantalones entubados de diferentes tonos, uñas de colores, labios rojos y peinados que combinan las crestas de los punk con el estilo de Axel Rose, el cantante del legendario grupo Guns and Roses, está en presencia de los tecktonik. Es una tendencia de origen francés que consiste básicamente en reunirse para bailar al ritmo de música electrónica. En el caso bogotano, cada fin de semana se juntan cientos de jóvenes entre los 14 y los 18 años, de colegios y universidades, en avenidas, parques y centros comerciales para mostrar sus destrezas como bailarines. Formaron parte de la exhibición que programó el Ministerio de Cultura el pasado miércoles, como parte del Día de la Danza, en Bogotá. Aunque no están organizados como un club, Mateo (Teo) Gelves, de 15 años, asegura que comenzaron apracticar, poco a poco fue llegando gente y organizaron eventos para hacer las batallas o duelos de baile. Aprendí sobre el tecktonik, los pasos de baile y de qué se trataba la tendencia en Youtube dice este estudiante del Gimnasio Campestre George Berkeley, que desde hace siete meses dedica media hora diaria al tecktonik. Es una manera de expresarme, de desahogar los problemas de la vida diaria. No hay una cifra exacta de jóvenes tecktonik en Colombia. Sin embargo en la red social Facebook existen unos seis grupos registrados que suman casi 6.000 miembros. En el país hay cuatro estilos que son el flogger, jumpstyle, hardstyle y el teck. Cada uno tiene una forma particular de baile y varía la forma de vestirse. Solo se debe elegir un estiloy practicarlo con empeño para demostrar en las competiciones cuál es el mejor. El movimiento nació en el 2000, en la discoteca Metrópolis de París. Primero los jóvenes danzaban con movimientos poco comunes al ritmo de la música electrónica, después se hacían duelos o batallas de baile, y cada estilo competía por ser el más aclamado por el público. El término surgió de un juego de palabras que combina la teoría geológica del movimiento de las placas tectónicas, con los géneros de música electrónica y el techno. Su creador fue Cyril Blanc, quien en el 2002 registró esta marca caracterizada por un águila que identifica una moda, el baile y una colección de ropa francesa. Somos un grupo libre y abierto, entra el que quiere bailar y pasar un buen momento y sólo debe contactarnos por Facebook o MySpace y llevar un celular cargado con varias canciones, comenta Edwin Penilla, Chiqui, de 14 años, quien lleva un pantalón amarillo intenso, zapatos de colores y un saco negro.
