Voyager By rfoshaug For stereo sound click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Na1mLp... In 1977, NASA launched two small spacecraft called Voyager 1 and Voyager 2. Weighing only 800 kgs each, they collected a wealth of scientific data and thousands of photographs of the four giant planets in our Solar System. After visiting Jupiter and Saturn, Voyager 1's trajectory left the ecliptic plane in order to photograph Saturn's moon Titan. This meant that Voyager 1 would not visit any other planets. However, Voyager 2 continued on to visit Uranus and Neptune. Still today, Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft to have visited these two "ice giants" and their moons. This music is dedicated to the two Voyager spacecraft and to the people who made them possible. Analogue Systems rs440 BBD Analog Delay By bigcitymusic Analogue Systems has just released a brand new module, the rs440 BBD Analogue Delay. This is an awesome sounding delay, utilizing a Panasonic 3011 BBD chip. Analogue Systems has done a great job keeping the price down on this voltage controllable delay. There is some clock noise at longer delay times but the use of a low pass filter after can easily rid you of it. Actually, the clock noise is pretty fun. You can use it as an effect! If you've had any experience with BBD delays you know that clock noise can be an issue. Luckily most modular users have multiple filters ;). The rs440 has two cv inputs for controlling the delay time, one with an attenuator. There's also cv in for controlling the wet / dry mix. In this video we're running a simple sequence using an rs95 square wave. The output of the VCA goes into the rs440, and the rs440's out into the rs100s Low Pass Filter. This delay sounds great and the feedback and freakouts have a wonderful tone to them. We're running one of our sequencer channels into the variable cv input, sequencing the delay time. Yes. Sequencing delay time! Woohoo! We also run a medium-speed triangle LFO into the fixed time near the end, which gives the delay a nice vibrato. Cheers! Best Hip Hop / Epic / Soundtrack Beat Ever: Conqueror (Made With Reason 4.0 & FL 8) By mdie1234 Well, I actually had to put - 'My' Best Hip Hop / Epic / Soundtrack Beat Ever - in the title, but it's just meant for more views. So about the beat. This was definately one of the hardest beats I have ever produced: it has so many tiny details that make this beat sound like it does. I have figured out how FL works with automation, so that helped me a great deal and I think I have FL almost fully under control. I put a lot of work in this one because I really liked the melody sound and the army snares. I even wanted to put this one up with video, but FL had serious problems handling the enormous amounts of instruments and FX, which caused lots of trouble. I solved that problem eventually, but didn't have the spirit to create a video file for it, so you could see how I produce. Sorry for that. Anyway, enjoy this beat. My webcam is not working so I couldn't make a "first person"-type video this time. Instead, I made my own version of the penguin video. ;-) The penguin footage is from the documentary film "The march of the penguins", except for the last minute or so... (which is from an April Fools joke that BBC created). I decided to make a happier ending than Jarre's original penguin video. :-) I have extended the song a little bit, both in the start and at the end. I wanted to create my own version of Oxygene IV as well as staying true to the original. The result is an 8-minute Oxygene Part IV.
