Nattevagten - El vigilante nocturno - (1994) Director: Ole Bornedal. Guionista: Ole Bornedal. Actores principales: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Martin), Sofie Gråbøl (Kalinka, su novia), Kim Bodnia (Jens, su amigo), Lotte Andersen (Lotte, novia de Jens), Ulf Pilgaard (Inspector Wörmer). ¿Qué hacer cuando se es un estudiante universitario con pocos recursos, muchas facturas y un mínimo de orgullo como para no pedir por enésima vez dinero a los padres? Buscar trabajo. ¿Y si alguien le ofrece a uno empleo que nos permite estudiar y ganar un buen sueldo a la vez? Aceptarlo, aunque se trate de algo tan macabro como trabajar de vigilante nocturno en un depósito de cadáveres. Sobre todo si en la descripción del trabajo está el pasearse por cada una de las secciones de la morgue, solo, por la noche y si nadie le explica a uno las oscuras razones por las que el anterior empleado dejó el puesto. Por si fuera poco eso de tener que pasarse las noches rodeado de fiambres de mujeres asesinadas por un psicópata, tratando de aprovechar el tiempo y concentrándose en sus libros de derecho, Martin tiene que lidiar con la inmadurez de su mejor amigo Jens, que le mete en problemas cada dos por tres. Además el propio psicópata, cuya identidad desconoce está empeñado en hacerle creer a todo el mundo que el psicópata es Martin, sembrando pistas falsas para volverlo loco o algo peor... Muy interesante es también el análisis que hace este director sobre los problemas (las estrecheces económicas, la dificultad de asumir responsabilidades como adultos, etc.) a los que se enfrenta un grupo de jóvenes que pronto dejarán de serlo. Ole Bornedal debutó en la gran pantalla con esta película, que arrasó en las taquillas y cuyo éxito se extendió por otros países, le abrió las puertas de Hollywood en donde dirigió el remake "The nightwatch". En España se estrenó con el título "La Sombra de la Noche" en catalán "L'ombra de la nit" y a pesar de que contaba con un buen reparto: Ewan McGregor, Nick Nolte y Patricia Arquette, no tuvo el éxito de su predecesora. Hay que destacar también que esta película supuso el debut cinematográfico de Ulrich Thomsen, que hace en esta película el papel de macarra. Geraftaar Kishan Kumar Khanna is a film actor who comes from a poor and honest background. He lives with his widowed mother, Durga. Después de algunos años Ossy va a visitar a su antiguo compañero de juergas Jimmy, que vive en Islandia. Jimmy no le recibe muy entusiasmado ya que ahora tiene un trabajo, una casa y está viviendo con Anna con la que tiene un hijo y a la que tampoco ha contado nada sobre su pasado salvaje y criminal. La falta de sinceridad hace que la vida perfecta de Jimmy se convierta en un infierno, y culpa por ello a Ossy, que tampoco le ha contado la verdadera y trágica causa de su visita al que probablemente sea el único amigo que ha tenido alguna vez. Simon Staho es un director interesante en el panorama del cine danés actual. Un rasgo que le caracteriza es la ambientación nórdica tanto de sus personajes como del ambiente en que se mueven y a pesar de no suele estrenar sus películas fuera de Escandinavia (Solo sus películas "Bang, bang Orangután" y "Día y noche" fueron estrenadas en un país de habla hispana). Suele trabajar con actores de toda Escandinavia. Y a pesar de que toca temas universales como el amor, la amistad o los lazos afectivos, sin mostrar un sentimentalismo exagerado. Vildspor significa "Pista falsa" aunque también se puede traducir como "Rastro salvaje". Esta película no fue estrenada en ningún país de habla hispana. Dos cineastas tienen que escribir un guión de una película sobre la historia de un médico que trata de paliar una epidemia, pero que lo único que consigue es esparcirla todavía más. Para ello tratan de investigar las consecuencias que la peste negra tuvo en algunas ciudades italianas durante la Edad Media. Esta película es muy interesante ya que mezcla distintos géneros, no todos ellos de ficción como el horror o el documental al estilo "así se hizo", en donde hay también lugar para la reflexión sobre el cine danés. Es una película en blanco y negro al igual que las otras dos que componen la trilogía Europa. En este largometraje ya se puede apreciar muchas de las reglas Dogma 95 aplicadas casi una década antes de crear el Voto de Castidad de Dogma 95: el rodaje se produce fuera de estudios, en el mismo lugar donde se produce la acción, con la cámara en mano y el formato de la película es en algunas escenas de 35 mm. Esta película, que constituye la segunda parte de la trilogía Europa, no fue estrenada en ningún país de habla hispana y se hizo con un presupuesto mínimo. Éste es el único tráiler que he encontrado de la película, no es broma. This results in the Queen, Snow White's step mom hiring a hunter to kill her and bring back her heart. The third animated Disney movie that jealousy plays a strong role in is Toy Story. Woody, the original toy that the boy owns, becomes jealous of the boy's new toy Buzz Lightyear. This jealousy is relevant because Woody no longer gets played with like her use to.
