[View \| Download]	Suikoden II level 39 to 99 in one battle By Retribution235 Here is a brief tutorial on how to get a character that is level 39 to level 99 in one battle. Party and gear choices: The party was chosen to meet these standards: 3 people + the level 39 so the level 39 can stay in the back row. Hero- Cannot remove. Equipped with fury, double-beat runes (to maximize killing power against enemies and himself), and a fire lizard rune on his weapon so he will kill himself attacking the enemies (as he becomes quite difficult to kill at high levels). Chaco- Fodder. Clive- Clive was chosen because he's fairly fast and can snipe off the archers in the back before they attack the level 39. Eilie- The character being boosted to 99. Her gear is mostly high defense stuff, and her runes are Earth(more defense) and Fire(killing power). The enemies: The group you'll want to fight consists of 2 Highlands with bows, 2 Highlands with swords, 1 Highlands with a spear, and a Commander. I believe this is the easiest setup for the 39 to win against. Then all you have to do is win the battle, the video is of the strategy I used for Eilie. For melee characters or characters with one or no rune slots, it is a little different. Don't ask about the amount of time it took to show the song titles during the credits. I honestly didn't know it was going to take -that- long to have the words appear. For the love of Banjo & Kazooie, don't ask me what songs were used. I'll list them here whenever I get the chance. Yes, I realize the songs are in Japanese, so I might put them in the description one day. Music from OC Remix (not mine). Secrets: 1. Hero clons Yes, the hero can be cloned, and each clone can act as an individual character on the party. 2. Viki clons The same thing, but with Viki instead of the Hero. I can clone anyone in the game. 3. Impossible party members Oh yeah, so... what about having Neclord, Apple, Gorudo or even Genkaku in your own party? Yeah! I can command whoever I want in the game. 4. Trying to fight with impossible members Well, the game (and the emulator) is kinda dissapointed in letting me command everyone I guess... 5. Richmond investigates weird members Well, I decided to ask Richmond, who says he has no secrets about anything, about those weird party members. But... well, He returned with empty hands and he had no information about them. So, he doesn't know anything at all :D Anyway, what's the point of asking him to investigate himself? And even pay him to investigate himself?? wtf!?? Not a whole lot of people did this, it sounds like, but I think it's worth seeing. In this bunch of scenes, we see Riou's first encounter with Elza, the recruitment of Clive, and... a seemingly endless stream of very stupid NPCs (and translation inaccuracies) as he tries to catch up with her.
