Shivabalayogi Bannerghatta, Bangalore By tpalotas Early film of Shivabalayogi and the first ashram on Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore, India. This ashram was inaugurated on August 7, 1963, and served as the main ashram until the International Centre was inaugurated at the J.P. Nagar (district) of Bangalore on August 7, 1977. As with so many films and videos of Shivabalayogi, one sees many people in bhava samadhi (spiritual trance), particularly during bhajans (spiritual song). Devotees recall that the intensity of the bhava samadhi during bhajans was so great that visitors would pass into trance while still kilometers away. It was at the Bannerghatta Road ashram that Shri Swamiji sat in tapas (meditation in samadhi) for one year for world peace. The bhajan on the soundtrack, "Om Namah Shivaya, Shivaya Namah Om" was recorded in Bangalore in 1991. Shivabalayogi Adivarapupeta 1963 A By tpalotas First of two films taken in Adivarapupeta, the south Indian village of weavers where Shivabalayogi completed twelve years of meditation in the state of enlightenment. The opening scenes show the place by the Godavari River canal where the fourteen-year-old yogi was initiated into tapas, then the small temple built where he sat in meditation for more than ten years until he emerged fully Self realized on August 7 of 1961. Scenes show devotees in procession with the yogi and his mother through the village street. Many people are in divine trance (bhava samadhi), a transforming state of consciousness in which the mind is still and the body is moved by spritual forces. It is a wonderful Divine play to witness and experience. The final shots are precious glimpses of the great yogi in samadhi, his body moving from powerful spiritual currents, then some shots with his eyes open and giving a powerful look (darshan) that can be felt even through this video. The bhajan "Sri Balayogisha" was recorded in Adivarapupeta in 1994. Sembra infatti che le proteine approfittino direttamente degli effetti quantici per compiere attività che altrimenti sarebbero assolutamente impossibili. R.Penrose , famoso fisico dellUniversità di Oxford, rifacendosi ad alcune pionieristiche ricerche dell anestesiologo S.Hameroff e del neurofisiologo B.Libet, ipotizzò che i processi cerebrali come la coscienza o la consapevolezza dovessero essere direttamente collegate al fenomeno fisico noto come coerenza quantistica. Tale fenomeno è quel meccanismo fisico per cui i metalli portati a bassa temperatura manifestano il fenomeno della superconduttività dell elettricità senza opporre resistenza. Una situazione molto simile, seppure in condizioni ambientali decisamente diverse, avviene secondo Penrose anche a livello cerebrale, in particolare a livello dei tubuli : levento cosciente nelluomo, e cioè il passaggio dallo stato di pre-coscienza allo stato di coscienza, avviene al raggiungimento da parte dei tubuli dello stato di massima eccitazione coerente. Come gli elettroni nella superconduttività (che muovendosi allunisono permettono alla corrente di muoversi senza ostacoli), così la globalizzazione della coerenza tra i tubuli cerebrali permette il verificarsi del processo cognitivo. Il tempo di transizione della fase pre-cosciente alla fase cosciente con la conseguente attivazione del segnale motore che consente ad esempio di muovere un braccio, dura circa mezzo secondo. Il susseguirsi delle transizioni dal livello minimo al livello massimo di coerenza dei tubuli, costituisce il corso della coscienza, lo scorrere del tempo. I fenomeni di coerenza quantistica oltre a spiegare razionalmente le dinamiche dei processi cognitivi, darebbero conto di quello che Penrose chiama Senso Unitario della mente. Il processo cosciente non può mai essere frutto dellattivazione di una singola area del cervello ma deve scaturire dall azione concertata in un gran numero di zone della mente.
