Karaoke - Ci vuole un fiore - Sergio Endrigo This karaoke has been created for didactic purposes. If you teach Italian L2, this song is perfect for Level 1 students, either children or adults. The expression "ci vuole" (e' necessario) is repeated again and again, so that it can be fixed in the long-term memory. The basic vocabulary is conveyed through pictures and it lets us avoid any translation into students' L1. This song is *not* for children only, and it can be very well appreciated by adults too. If you read the lyrics carefully, you will find several powerful messages: we should respect the environment we live in and take care of our planet; the flower in this song is also a symbol of peace: "per fare tutto, ci vuole un fiore!" In order to have students sing this karaoke, instructors should first work with the sing-along karaoke I uploaded here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sddptx6n9L8 and follow my instructions (read my 'description'!)
