It is possible to blame a murderer because he/she is guilty of his/her murder, because he planned the way to kill his victim. QUIETUS, en español se traduce como "Descanso Eterno", que puede interpretarse como la manera en que decides pasar el resto de tu vida: en un eterno sentimiento de culpabilidad o remordimiento o en calma... Para aquellos que son culpables por sus actos cometidos, lo aconsejable sería primero que reconozcan su culpa y su responsabilidad, eviten victimizarse (aparten esos dogmas de culpabilidad impuestos por la variedad de instituciones religiosas que los hace sentir condenados para poder manipularlos y minimizarles tanto la vida de ustedes como su propio sentido común y determinación), y en cambio dediquense junto a los demás seres a construir un mundo mejor, ¿CÓMO?: AYUDANDO A LOS OTROS A SER FELICES, de manera inteligente, aunque para eso primero hay que tener AUTOCONOCIMIENTO, pues quien no se ama ni se comprende a sí mismo, no amará ni comprenderá de alguna manera a los demás. PROPONER el amor, el respeto, etc, más nunca IMPONERLO, y quien no loquiera recibir, pues simplemente alejarse de esas personas sin cometerles actos hostiles, pues cada quien estará a su ritmo y en su propio tiempo para evolucionar... The Spanish is a translation of my own. This song deals with aberrant actions made by clergymen (a clergyman who raped a child). ESPAÑOL Subtitulé este video en español e inglés. La canción trata de un cura que violó a un niño. Luego le paga a los padres para que guarden silencio y que la imagen "santa" de la Iglesia no sea manchada. NOTAS DE TRADUCTOR: 1) Hay un error en la línea "con mesajes de Dios" (faltó una "n" en "mensajes"). 2) En la línea: "the soul of this bulwark", el término "bulwark" traducido literalmente es "baluarte" (muro de defensa en una fortificación), pero como se utiliza el término como una metáfora, hay que hallarle su verdadero significado. "Bulwark" aquí se refiere al "cuerpo físico", que actúa a modo de "prisión" del alma mientras estamos encarnados. Así que "bulwark" la traduje por "prisión" y no por "cuerpo", para mantener de esta manera el nivel de estilo dramático de la letra. 3) En la línea: "and the extinguisher", NO DEBE TRADUCIRSE COMO EXTINTOR DE INCENDIOS, como vi en la mayoría de las traducciones de internet. Es otra metáfora más que hay qué desenredar. "Extinguisher" (Extintor) se refiere a aquel que "Extinguish all your sins", es decir, al que supuestamente te quita todos los pecados a través de la confesión en la iglesia, o sea, el cura o predicador (en lo específico), pero a la institución religiosa (en lo general). De hecho en muchas iglesias cristianas, ¿quién apaga la luz de las velas? Los clérigos... Son éstos clérigos cuando actúan de mala fé los que al ser descubiertos pierden la inmunidad que de cierta manera les brindaba la Iglesia, pero ésta los expulsa de su propia institución como para "lavarse las manos" de las faltas cometidas por ellos mismos a costa de los inocentes. En este video "the apple" (la manzana) representa tanto al pecado del cual habla la Iglesia, como a la iglesia misma pero fundidas en un sólo lugar (la manzana en su totalidad)... ¿Y quién ofreció esa manzana? ¿No fue acaso la serpiente?
