And they may well ask why climb the highest mountain? Why, 35 years ago, fly the Atlantic? Why does Rice play Texas? We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too. It is for these reasons that I regard the decision last year to shift our efforts in space from low to high gear as among the most important decisions that will be made during my incumbency in the office of the Presidency. A la edad de 22 años, buscando nuevos horizontes y mejores oportunidades para ampliar sus conocimientos musicales, viajó a New York, donde estudió canto; en las escuelas a las que ingresó, le propusieron integrarse a varios grupos, es así que llega a formar parte de la agrupación neuyorkina "Coneccion C"; luego fue Invitado a cantar en renombrados y exclusivos Night Clubs, Teatros Y Bares-restaurantes del área Tri Estatal. Así también fue invitado a Festivales de Verano del Flushing Meadows Park, en Queens, New York. Ya saboreando Neil O· el éxito, el Compositor Y maestro Tommy Rey, lo escucha cantar y le propone grabar su primer Cd, por lo que se ve en la necesidad de abandonar momentaneamente su grupo, pues era la oportunidad de cumplir su sueño, grabar su primera producción propia, su Cd titulado "Neil O'hara, -El Juglar Del Pop-; el mismo que fue terminado bajo la Producción de Pro Found Sound Entertainment, con la dirección musical del escritor y compositor "Tommy Rey". Es así, que el locutor Oswaldo El Conde Montenegro, le propone ser su representante, por lo que viene a nuestro país a presentar su producción discográfica en varias estaciones radianes a nivel nacional. Allí empieza la promoción musical de Neil O, con mucho éxito, destacándose los temas antes mencionados y otros como: "Tu Condena" , bajo la dirección del Sr. Pablo Tapia. Más tarde, Neil O' Hara, decide contactarse con Riera Music International, en donde sus principales, le proponen grabar su Segunda Producción, en el que recopila temas exitosos, introduciendo por primera vez 4 temas de su autoria, todos al estilo "Pop". I do not say the we should or will go unprotected against the hostile misuse of space any more than we go unprotected against the hostile use of land or sea, but I do say that space can be explored and mastered without feeding the fires of war, without repeating the mistakes that man has made in extending his writ around this globe of ours. There is no strife, no prejudice, no national conflict in outer space as yet. Its hazards are hostile to us all. Its conquest deserves the best of all mankind, and its opportunity for peaceful cooperation many never come again. But why, some say, the moon? Why choose this as our goal? And they may well ask why climb the highest mountain? Why, 35 years ago, fly the Atlantic? Why does Rice play Texas? We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too. It is for these reasons that I regard the decision last year to shift our efforts in space from low to high gear as among the most important decisions that will be made during my incumbency in the office of the Presidency. A temprana edad, desde los 12 años , NeilO', como sus amigos cariñosamente lo llamaban, comprendió su creatividad y pasión por la música, escribió sus propios temas, en el género romántico. Más, tarde. en Quito, en donde su pasión por la música seguía, realizó varias presentaciones, en peñas, en fiestas con amigos y en todos los lugares en donde lo invitaban para deleitarse con su música. Participó también en varios concursos a nivel de colegio. A los 16 años de edad, se dedicó a estudiar declamación, en el Centro Cultural de su barrio. Estudió Teatro Y Oratoria, con el apoyo de sus maestros de Literatura. Luego Neilo' fue el cantante líder de un muy bien establecido grupo de Nombre ̈Los Fabulosos Del Rock"; después formó parte del grupo de Rock "Fenicons" , en el cual ratificó su talento, realizando numerosas y exitosas presentaciones. A la edad de 22 años, buscando nuevos horizontes y mejores oportunidades para ampliar sus conocimientos musicales, viajó a New York, donde estudió canto; en las escuelas a las que ingresó, le propusieron integrarse a varios grupos, es así que llega a formar parte de la agrupación neuyorkina "Coneccion C"; luego fue Invitado a cantar en renombrados y exclusivos Night Clubs, Teatros Y Bares-restaurantes del área Tri Estatal. Así también fue invitado a Festivales de Verano del Flushing Meadows Park, en Queens, New York. Ya saboreando Neil O· el éxito, el Compositor Y maestro Tommy Rey, lo escucha cantar y le propone grabar su primer Cd, por lo que se ve en la necesidad de abandonar momentaneamente su grupo, pues era la oportunidad de cumplir su sueño, grabar su primera producción propia, su Cd titulado "Neil O'hara, -El Juglar Del Pop-; el mismo que fue terminado bajo la Producción de Pro Found Sound Entertainment, con la dirección musical del escritor y compositor "Tommy Rey". El cumplir este gran sueño, significó para Neil O dos años de arduo trabajo, grabando 11 temas de su maestro, en los cuales se destacan: Ella Solo Ella, Mi Dueña Y Señora, Tu Condena Y Principe o Rufian?, temas con mucho talento interpretativo y sentimiento. Muy deseoso de continuar demostrando su calidad interpretativa, lleva su produccion discográfica para que lo escuchen en el exitoso programa "Viva La Musica", que se transmite todos los domingos desde "Radio Vía" de New Jersey, para Ecuador, España y algunos Estados de la Unión Americana. Es así, que el locutor Oswaldo El Conde Montenegro, le propone ser su representante, por lo que viene a nuestro país a presentar su producción discográfica en varias estaciones radianes a nivel nacional. Allí empieza la promoción musical de Neil O, con mucho éxito, destacándose los temas antes mencionados y otros como: "Tu Condena" , bajo la dirección del Sr. Pablo Tapia. Más tarde, Neil O' Hara, decide contactarse con Riera Music International, en donde sus principales, le proponen grabar su Segunda Producción, en el que recopila temas exitosos, introduciendo por primera vez 4 temas de su autoria, todos al estilo "Pop". Y al que decide titularlo: "Regreso Al Futuro", debido a que en él, se incluyen sus temas escojidos del pasado,trayéndolos al futuro, con nuevos arreglos musicales y utilizando instrumentos con tecnología moderna, acordes a esta época, los cuales se realizaron nuevamente bajo la dirección del maestro y arreglista Tommy Rey. Una vez concluído este segundo trabajo musical, Riera Music empezó su promoción en los mejores escenarios de La Unión Americana ,realizando una gira por toda Latinoamerica. Neil O' , además tiene ya tres Videos de las canciones ̈Demasiado Tardë (De su autoría), ̈Tu Duda Y La Miä, y ̈Tu Indiferenciä. Last spring, Christian sang in Mozart's ''Cosi FanTutte'' and will sing once again with the company in Puccini's "LaBohème" in February 2011. In addition, he hosts a morning show called ''Bon Matin'' at a local French radio station in Victoria. (107.9 FM CILS) Christian also performs at music festivals and at Victoria's waterfront playing his sitar. Other activities include photography, making music videos and teaching French.
