Asala - Helwa ya baladi (Dalida's song) By tafoshi This was an interview hosted by the famous TV presenter "Hala Sarhan" who was banned from doing shows in Egypt (her homeland) for some reason. Ironically at the same time it was rumored that Asala herself was banned from singing in Public in Syria. Asala sang this song which lyrics express the love of a person to their homeland after a long conversation about the topic of Loving your homeland and not being able to live freely in it. As you can see in the video both Asala and Hala got emotional when Asala was singing.
