Este hombre, Homo Sapiens, se convierte en un extraordinario pensador: fija su espacio, lo delimita e inventa la propiedad, la familia, la defensa del territorio, la vida conyugal, el trabajo, la agricultura. Cuando se reagrupa en poblados, el homo sapiens asiste también a la aparición de plagas invisibles: el virus, la contaminación, la epidemia. Con la expansión demográfica, se organiza y crea sociedades. Luego se dedica a domesticar animales, lo que le ayudará a fortalecer su poder. Llega a sentirse tan poderoso que ya puede pensar que proviene de la naturaleza y entonces crea lo divino para dar una explicación a su génesis, que inmortalizará mediante la realización de obras maestras, tumbas, monumentos consagrados a los dioses...
