Mother tormented to suicide by teenage gang. UK Police indifferent. Peter Dow cares. Fiona Pilkington, 38, made her last report of intimidation by a gang of youths on the day she died, a jury at Loughborough Town Hall was told. Coroner Olivia Davison heard police considered her to be "over-reacting" and did not respond to many complaints. The bodies were found in a burning car in Leicestershire in 2007. Ms Pilkington, of Bulwell, had driven her daughter Francecca Hardwick, 18, to a lay-by on the A47 near Earl Shilton, where she set fire to the car. ___ Peter Dow comments - This is typical for the United Kingdom police. I live in Aberdeen Scotland and the Police here are no better. I have been tormented in my own home by drunks, teenage gangs and on the odd occasion, by even younger children. Why do they pick on me? I believe, because I have a window display in my ground floor window which advertises my politics and my website. It is very upsetting to be tormented and although I would not be driven to suicide or to remove my window display, I was driven to swear at the police who did nothing effective to keep the peace for being as I said at the time "typical useless police bastards". For that, the police arrested me, tortured me with rigid handcuffs and eventually I got 3 weeks imprisonment and a psychiatric examination for my trouble. Later although video evidence of this harassment has been passed to the police they still have done next to nothing about it. One young thug was identified and got a letter sent to his parents I believe. One time the police happened luckily to be here at the time of the disturbance and they caught a few of the thugs. That didn't stop the rest of the tormenters. I have uploaded video evidence to YouTube - in my HarlawZoo http://www.youtube.com/user/HarlawZoo and AberdeenCrimeWatch http://www.youtube.com/user/AberdeenCrimeWatch channels to draw attention to the misbehaviour of the local scum. Since the police still would not respond to my call in time to arrest the culprits, I fitted an alarm which I would sound while I was being tormented with no help from the police. Since my alarm was drawing attention to the failure of the police to secure the peace and so I was embarrassing the police, a police officer threatened to confiscate my alarm and I was forced to disconnect it. The police and the authorities insist that we victims must suffer in silence, or if we ask for help or sound the alarm we have our pleas for help ignored or silenced because the lazy police and the indifferent authorities find it too difficult, time consuming or expensive to constrain the nasty thugs who enjoy tormenting innocent people. In the United Kingdom, it is easier for the police to do nothing or even to arrest the victims or to confiscate our equipment in order to shut us up. Of course, it would be different story if the teenage gangs and the drunks were to try to torment the officers of the state themselves. If gangs dared to try to torment, say a restaurant where the local police chiefs, the councillors, the Justices of the Peace and the judges were eating, you can be sure that police and court action would be taken to take the teenage gangs off the streets and into custody where they belong.
