Gene Harris - Theme for Relana By Odawg96 This beautiful song is the leadoff cut from Harris 1976 Blue Note album "In A Special Way." He gets vocal and instrumental help from members of Earth, Wind & Fire (namely Verdine White, Al McKay, and Philip Bailey) on a tune written by Skip Scarborough. You'll notice that the ending chord progression is similar to the one used at the end EWF's version of "Can't Hide Love", also written by Skip Scarborough. Whenever I play keys, this is usually the first song I warm up with.
