[View \| Download]	Dreamland: Doppelganger "Trailer" By kiwikenobi The fourth in a series of movie-style trailers I made for fanfics I wrote using footage from the various movies and video games I referenced in it, and also some shots that just worked for what I wanted. However, even though I'm sharing this trailer, I am not sharing the fanfic. I didn't write it intending to show it to anyone else, and it's just not that audience-worthy. It was more of a self-indulgent piece than anything (and, as anyone who's read fanfic knows, those self-indulgent pieces can be pretty... meh) In any case, I was pretty proud of my trailer, so I thought I'd put it up on Youtube and see what happens. NOTE: The story is called Dreamland because it's based on the paracosm I invented where I daydream, not because it has anything to do with Kirby. Even though Meta Knight does appear in this trailer, because he's so awesome ^_^ ALSO NOTE: I refer to the Dreamer as "she" and "her," because I am female, and the story is about me. Various male characters in the clips have been used to represent the main character because the games and movies those male characters happened to be in were awesome, and also, there just aren't that many great female characters doing the kinds of things I need them to be doing in my trailers. Everything would be mirrored in the GCN version]) Kakariko Village in flames (from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64) Obi-Wan Kenobi falling (from Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace) Mario and Shadow Mario facing off in the Pinna Park fountain (from Super Mario Sunshine for the Gamecube) Master Shifu being attacked by his students (from Dreamworks' Kung-fu Panda) A wolf running along the train tracks in the dark and against the sunset, Kiba running in the rain (from the Wolf's Rain opening) Link battling Dark Link in the Water Temple (from Ocarina of Time) The hero, the girl, and the sprite battling the three shadows that look like them in the Cavern of the Test of Courage (from Secret of Mana for the SNES) Basil of Baker Street getting beaten up by Ratigan on one of the hands of Big Ben (from Disney's The Great Mouse Detective) Ursula/Vanessa twirling on a vanity (from The Little Mermaid) Meta Knight slashing with Galaxia and glowing (from the Kirby animé, episode 60) Shadow Mario... looking ominious (from Super Mario Sunshine) The music is a song called "Giant Slayer No Mercy" by X-Ray Dog, a company that produces songs specifically for movie makers to use in trailers. I found it by searching for "x ray dog" on Google. I cannot distribute the song for legal reasons, so please, do not ask.
