But the steel column was cut by an ironworker during the clean up. [View \| Download]	Entendendo o Anarquismo (1/6) Anarquismo (literalmente "sem poder"): Movimento social-político-filosófico que defende uma organização social baseada em consensos e na cooperação de indivíduos livres e autónomos, mas onde à partida sejam abolidas entre eles todas as formas de poder. A Anarquia seria assim uma sociedade sem poder, dado que os indivíduos de uma dada sociedade, se auto-organizariam de tal forma que garantiriam que todos teriam em todas as circunstâncias a mesma capacidade de decisão. Esta sociedade, objecto de inúmeras configurações, apresenta-se como uma "Utopia" (algo sem tempo ou espaço determinado). É um ideal a atingir. As origens do anarquismo, entroncam directamente na concepção individualista dos direitos naturais defendida por John Locke. A sociedade para este filósofo inglês era o resultado de um contrato voluntário acordado entre individuos iguais em direito e em deveres. No entanto foi só a partir do final do século XVIII que o anarquismo se veio a estruturar como uma corrente política autónoma, com seguidores em toda a parte do mundo. Entre os seus teóricos contam-se pensadores tão diversos como William Godwin (1773-1836), P.J.Proudhon (1809-1865), Bakunine (1814-1870), Kropotkin (1842-1921) ou o português Silva Mendes. A intervenção política dos anarquistas, pouco inclinados à constituição de grandes organizações, embora muito dispersa tem historicamente se centrado a sua luta na defesa de seis ideias: 1. Direitos Fundamentais dos Indivíduos. Os anarquistas, como os liberais foram os primeiros retirar das ideias de John Locke profundas implicações politicas. Em primeiro lugar a ideia da primazia do indivíduo face à sociedade. Em segundo, a ideia de que todo o indivíduo é único e possui um conjunto de direitos naturais que não podem ser posto em causa por nenhum tipo de sociedade que exista ou venha a ser criada. 2. Acção Directa. Recusando por princípio o sistema de representação, os anarquistas afirmam o valor da acção directa do indivíduo na realidade social. Este conceito foi interpretado no final do século XIX/princípios do século XX, por alguns anarquistas, como uma forma de actuação política, cometendo assassinatos de figuras políticas que diziam simbolizarem tudo aquilo que reprovavam ( a célebre propaganda por factos). 3. Crítica dos Preconceitos Ideológicos e Morais. Uma das suas facetas mais conhecidas pela sua crítica irreverente à sociedade. Com a sua crítica demolidora dos preconceitos sociais pretendem destruir todas as condicionantes mentais que possam impedir o indivíduo de ser livre e de se assumir como tal. 4. Educação Libertária. Os anarquistas viram na educação um processo de emancipação dos indivíduos, acreditando que por esta via podiam lançar as bases de um nova sociedade. 5. Auto-organização. Embora recusem qualquer forma de poder, a maioria dos anarquistas não recusa a constituição de organizações. Estas devem contudo ser o resultado de uma acção consciente e voluntária dos seus membros, mantendo entre eles uma total igualdade de forma a impedir a formação de relações de poder (dirigentes/dirigidos, representantes/representados, etc). É por esta razão que tendem desconfiar ou combater, as grandes organizações porque nelas a maioria dos indivíduos tendem a ser afastados dos processos de decisão. Os anarquistas estão desde o século XIX ligados à criação de sociedades mutualistas, cooperativas, associações de trabalhadores (sindicatos e confederações, etc), ateneus, colónias e experiências auto-gestionárias. Em todas estas formas de organização procuram em pequena ou grande escala ensaiar a sociedade que preconizam. 6. Sociedade Global. Um dos seus grandes ideais foi sempre a constituição de uma sociedade planetária que permitisse a livre circulação de pessoas ou o fim das guerras entre países. É neste sentido que alguns anarquistas, como P. Kropotkin, viram no desenvolvimento das tecnologias de comunicação e informação um meio que poderia conduzir ao advento da Anarquia. A defesa destas ideias tem caracterizado o movimento anarquista internacional, ao longo dos seus duzentos anos de existência. [View \| Download]	Entendendo o Anarquismo (1/6) Anarquismo (literalmente "sem poder"): Movimento social-político-filosófico que defende uma organização social baseada em consensos e na cooperação de indivíduos livres e autónomos, mas onde à partida sejam abolidas entre eles todas as formas de poder. A Anarquia seria assim uma sociedade sem poder, dado que os indivíduos de uma dada sociedade, se auto-organizariam de tal forma que garantiriam que todos teriam em todas as circunstâncias a mesma capacidade de decisão. Esta sociedade, objecto de inúmeras configurações, apresenta-se como uma "Utopia" (algo sem tempo ou espaço determinado). É um ideal a atingir. As origens do anarquismo, entroncam directamente na concepção individualista dos direitos naturais defendida por John Locke. A sociedade para este filósofo inglês era o resultado de um contrato voluntário acordado entre individuos iguais em direito e em deveres. No entanto foi só a partir do final do século XVIII que o anarquismo se veio a estruturar como uma corrente política autónoma, com seguidores em toda a parte do mundo. Entre os seus teóricos contam-se pensadores tão diversos como William Godwin (1773-1836), P.J.Proudhon (1809-1865), Bakunine (1814-1870), Kropotkin (1842-1921) ou o português Silva Mendes. A intervenção política dos anarquistas, pouco inclinados à constituição de grandes organizações, embora muito dispersa tem historicamente se centrado a sua luta na defesa de seis ideias: 1. Direitos Fundamentais dos Indivíduos. Os anarquistas, como os liberais foram os primeiros retirar das ideias de John Locke profundas implicações politicas. Em primeiro lugar a ideia da primazia do indivíduo face à sociedade. Em segundo, a ideia de que todo o indivíduo é único e possui um conjunto de direitos naturais que não podem ser posto em causa por nenhum tipo de sociedade que exista ou venha a ser criada. 2. Acção Directa. Recusando por princípio o sistema de representação, os anarquistas afirmam o valor da acção directa do indivíduo na realidade social. Este conceito foi interpretado no final do século XIX/princípios do século XX, por alguns anarquistas, como uma forma de actuação política, cometendo assassinatos de figuras políticas que diziam simbolizarem tudo aquilo que reprovavam ( a célebre propaganda por factos). 3. Crítica dos Preconceitos Ideológicos e Morais. Uma das suas facetas mais conhecidas pela sua crítica irreverente à sociedade. Com a sua crítica demolidora dos preconceitos sociais pretendem destruir todas as condicionantes mentais que possam impedir o indivíduo de ser livre e de se assumir como tal. 4. Educação Libertária. Os anarquistas viram na educação um processo de emancipação dos indivíduos, acreditando que por esta via podiam lançar as bases de um nova sociedade. 5. Auto-organização. Embora recusem qualquer forma de poder, a maioria dos anarquistas não recusa a constituição de organizações. Estas devem contudo ser o resultado de uma acção consciente e voluntária dos seus membros, mantendo entre eles uma total igualdade de forma a impedir a formação de relações de poder (dirigentes/dirigidos, representantes/representados, etc). É por esta razão que tendem desconfiar ou combater, as grandes organizações porque nelas a maioria dos indivíduos tendem a ser afastados dos processos de decisão. Os anarquistas estão desde o século XIX ligados à criação de sociedades mutualistas, cooperativas, associações de trabalhadores (sindicatos e confederações, etc), ateneus, colónias e experiências auto-gestionárias. Em todas estas formas de organização procuram em pequena ou grande escala ensaiar a sociedade que preconizam. 6. Sociedade Global. Um dos seus grandes ideais foi sempre a constituição de uma sociedade planetária que permitisse a livre circulação de pessoas ou o fim das guerras entre países. É neste sentido que alguns anarquistas, como P. Kropotkin, viram no desenvolvimento das tecnologias de comunicação e informação um meio que poderia conduzir ao advento da Anarquia. A defesa destas ideias tem caracterizado o movimento anarquista internacional, ao longo dos seus duzentos anos de existência.
