Malpractice Medical Myomectomy Vaginal Fibroid Removal Surgery 3 By InformConsent http://www.PreOp.com Medical Malpractice and Patient Education Company Then the surgeon will use a gloved hand to conduct a vaginal examination and will check the size and location of the uterus by pressing on your lower abdomen. Your doctor will then use a retractor to open the vagina. Once the cervix is visible, a forceps is used to grasp the front lip of the cervix ... and to pull it forward - causing the uterus to open. Through that opening, your doctor will insert an instrument called a hysteroscope. A hysteroscope allows the surgical team to insert all necessary optical and surgical instruments into the uterus. Medical Malpractice At the beginning of the procedure, a harmless gas or fluid will be introduced into the uterus, causing it to expand. By inflating the uterus slightly, your doctor is better able to reach the operative site. Next, a wire loop is inserted. This loop is used to grab the fibroid tissue and snip it free from the muscular wall of the uterus. Medical Malpractice When your doctor is satisfied that all fibrous tissue has been removed, the hysteroscope and all other instruments are withdrawn. Philosophical - You don't believe in vaccines, you don't think they're safe, you don't think they've been tested enough, etc. 3. Medical - Your child has an autoimmune disease or had a negative reaction to a vaccine in the past. Under such conditions it is dangerous to vaccinate a child and it states in the vaccine insert not to vaccinate under these circumstances, but doctors and nurses are NOT taught this so you must be firm! Vaccinations are a school policy, NOT the LAW. If you choose not to vaccinate, the law is on your side. Pharmaceutical firms have been racing to produce the vaccine in time for the start of the northern hemisphere's winter flu season, with the US government aiming for the first batch of the H1N1 shot to be made available by mid-October. "The first week in October, we expect some of the vaccine to begin to roll," Sebelius said. News of the accelerated delivery of the vaccine is a boost to Americans worried about an imminent spike in swine flu cases. Health experts had expressed fears that the vaccine might arrive too late in the flu season to provide protection to the millions of Americans believed to be at risk. "We'll get the vaccine out the door, the earliest doses are probably going to be targeted to health care workers and other high-priority groups," Sebelius said.
