As you can see, at the beginning I´m not able to move around well. Just one hour later, when the medications has made its effect I can even play the piano as I used to do before I was diagnosed with parkinson disease. José Sánchez-Cerezo de la Fuente JSC wants to thank spanish parkinson associations like http://www.apanet.org.es/ and http://www.aep-taray.org/ and that, personally, I consider the best groups dedicated to this issue. Here is part of the translation of the video (soon there will be a complete version): - TV guy speaks: A neurodegenerative desease (parkinson) about which we celebrate today (this was showed on tv on April 4th) it´s worlwide Day. In Spain, about 100.000 people are affected by this desease that, so far, has no cure but only treatmeant to slow down the symtoms. A desease that we usually think of properly of old people but that, increasingly, we can find it too in younger and younger people. In Spain 10% of the parkinsonians are less than 50 years old. Those are, probably, the most dramatic cases. A young man, 28 years old, with Parkinson, tell us his story in first person.
