INFO Moonlight Shadow è una canzone pop scritta dal musicista britannico Mike Oldfield, pubblicata come singolo nel maggio 1983 ed inclusa nell'album Crises dello stesso anno. La parte vocale del brano nella versione originale è eseguita dalla cantante scozzese Maggie Reilly, collaboratrice di Oldfield sin dal 1980. Si è a lungo creduto che il testo di Moonlight Shadow faccesse riferimento all'omicidio di John Lennon, benché Oldfield in una intervista del 1985 smentì, in parte, la notizia. Oldfield dichiarò che la principale ispirazione del brano era il film Il mago Houdini, in cui il protagonista, interpretato da Tony Curtis tentava di contattare il celebre mago dall'aldilà.
