Tarkov attended Stark's burial and afterward enlisted in the UNSC Marine Corps. He then went through a series of brutal training exercises, including live ammunition and combat crawls through mud to prepare him for combat against the Covenant Empire. During one of his first battles, he dropped onto an unknown planet amongst other members of his battalion to engage Covenant forces. Several squads of Jiralhanae soldiers were present at the Marine's landing zone, with multiple Type-26 "Banshees" providing cover overhead. One Jiralhanae Major had struck Tarkov while he was moving up the line, throwing him into a puddle. As the experienced Major was approaching the helpless Marine, a severely damaged Banshee crashed nearby, killing the Jiralhanae and saving Tarkov's life. I think that this song fit with this trailer. About the trailer: - "The Marines were originally intended to speak Russian - according to Rupert Sanders during an interview... He acknowledges however that the ODSTs are actually speaking Hungarian." Apparently this is to reinforce the idea that Earth is united against the Covenant. - The song is a "Welsh song..." and "...is a version of Café del Mar's "Light of Aidan - Lament", which is much lighter and softer in tone and melody." It seems the version in the trailer was specifically made for the it. The original is quite different and sung by a women with a much softer tone. - Light Of Aidan - Lament lyrics from the trailer translated to: "And my army of brothers went over the hilltops, drenched in blood we may be... but fighting is all left to me... Together with my army of brothers... down we fall... darkness in all... through hell!" - Translated Dialogue (from Hungarian): UNSC officer: Present arms! UNSC officer: Fire! UNSC officer: "Tarkov!
