Brigade who took on the most of fighting was 549th Motorized Brigade, who, although outnumbered at least 30 to 1, valiantly held their ground during 45 days of combat. They inflicted huge casualties to Albanian UCK terrorists, Albanian Army and NATO war machine in the region, destroying 1 AH-64 Apache helicopter, several "Little Bird" light helicopters, several Huey and Black Haws helicopters and 1 "Chinook" transport helicopter. 9 NATO aircraft were shot down by Serbian mobile and stationary AA system during the battle. [View \| Download]	Košara Battle- Live Battle Footage (Serbian Side) By NikolaSerbPatri0t This video is just a small, negletable fragment of heavy gunfights of Košara Battle, led between Serbian (Yugoslav) Army and UCK Terrorists, supported by Albanian Republican Army, NATO Aviation, French Foreighn Legion and Islamist Jihadists from Middle-East. Before the battle, UCK (KLA) troops were completley forced out of Kosovo and Metohia region (simply known as Kosovo), with only small pockets of resistance in the soorounding countryside. Their attempt to force their way back in utterly failed. Their strengh was in total of 15.000 men. 3000 were sent initially, with reinforcements as they took casualties, and to open up new front lines. They were supported by Albanian Army's regular forces, who retreated after their armoured coloumn was destroyed near Gorožup border post. After that, Albanian Army only provided artillery support to UCK forces. NATO provided non-stop air support. Brigade who took on the most of fighting was 549th Motorized Brigade, who, although outnumbered at least 30 to 1, valiantly held their ground during 45 days of combat. They inflicted huge casualties to Albanian UCK terrorists, Albanian Army and NATO war machine in the region, destroying 1 AH-64 Apache helicopter, several "Little Bird" light helicopters, several Huey and Black Haws helicopters and 1 "Chinook" transport helicopter. 9 NATO aircraft were shot down by Serbian mobile and stationary AA system during the battle.
