L'Opium et le Bâton (1970) Film Algérien complet. الأفيون والعصا L'Opium et le Bâton (1970) الأفيون والعصا Dans un village de montagne en Kabylie, pendant la guerre d'Algérie, la majorité de la population a rallié le mouvement indépendantiste du FLN. Les Français décident de le rayer de la carte. En 1970, la presse algérienne relevait le grand succès commercial du film l'Opium et le Bâton réalisé par Ahmed Rachedi. Toutefois, ce mérite ne peut cacher les imperfections de cette œuvre cinématographique, encore moins les excuser, car le réalisateur disposait au départ d'un atout majeur : le roman éponyme du célèbre écrivain algérien Mouloud Mammeri. Aussi, cette adaptation étant une œuvre importante dans la filmographie algérienne, nous allons lui consacrer une analyse exhaustive ponctuée par des rappels historiques sur l'organisation du cinéma algérien durant cette période, accompagnée d'une biographie succincte du réalisateur.
