Michael/Isabel - Breathe By TearsofMercury SYNOPSIS: This video shows snippets from three different "arcs" in Michael and Isabel's lives. The first arc is shown in sepia, the second in regular color, and the third is done in grayscale. Neither the storylines or the clips within the different arcs are placed in order. In the FIRST arc, Isabel is dating Alex and Michael is dating Maria. Michael has started to have feelings for Isabel but is determined to be faithful to his girlfriend and, scared of Isabel's reaction, has decided not to tell her. Isabel is unhappy with Alex and, unsure why, makes the mistake of sleeping with him. She gets pregnant. In the SECOND arc, a pregnant Isabel has run to Michael for help and understanding. Michael gives it unquestioningly and does his best to defend her from everyone's anger and criticism, especially when the group finds out that Isabel told him before she told Alex. When Max is captured by Pierce, however, Isabel uses her powers to try to find him and weakens herself critically. She loses the baby, and she and Alex break up. When Michael defends her to Maria, they get into a huge fight and break up. Their growing feelings lead Michael and Isabel to seek each other out for comfort, and eventually it turns into something more. After six months or so Isabel gets pregnant again. Afraid of losing her baby and being abandoned by a boyfriend again, she pushes Michael away. In the THIRD arc, Michael and Isabel are doing their best to deal with their imminent parenthood. Isabel has been dreaming of marrying Michael and raising their baby together, and when she tries to talk to him about it Michael, still stung from her rejection, shuts her out. The Special Unit return -- this time for Michael -- and an unsuspecting Isabel, Max and Michael are ambushed. Isabel and Max are both shot, and Max is unable to heal Isabel or the baby. Michael, who has been in love with Isabel for months, desperately forms a connection with her and heals her and the baby. (It is not shown at any point in the video, but after this Isabel goes on to have a healthy pregnancy and they get married.)
