It's amazing that not everyone knows what a theremin is. It was one of the first electronic musical instruments ever made and it was invented in 1919. There's only one way to find out! some notes: The main theremin was passed through iZotope Trash, an awesome software guitar effects plugin. The video was edited entirely in Adobe After Effects. Moog Etherwave Standard Antenna Mod Demo By ThomasGrillo http://www.thomasgrillo.com Vist my channel to send messages. While solving a problem in which my Etherwave standard would make unintended sounds when touching the volume antenna, I discoverd some cool new things you can do with the Etherwave Standard. I solved the problem by putting a bit of nylon cable sleeve over my volume, and pitch antennae. As a result, you can now touch the antennae without the unwanted sounds, but just by gently gripping the volume antenna you can actually play the instrument in a comical nature, (I suppose). I also demonstrate a cool thing you can do by toutching the metal plate of the control panel while playing. you can change the capacitance this way, and do neat things like trills, ect. By sleeving the pitch antenna, you can safely play high notes close to it without fear of hearing an octave jump. Now, you can evin play a few extra notes by toucing the pitch antenna with each additional finger. Don't expect perfect entonation here, I got used to playing the Etherwave Pro which plays a bit differently than the Standard. I finnish the demo with a rather corny rendition of Anchors Away.
