Eine halbe Stunde verharrt sie in dieser Position, erhebt sich dann wieder und öffnet die Blätter. Auch in der Nacht nimmt sie dies abgeknickte Position ein. Ihre Blüten erinnern an eine Pusteblume, die sich schon früh im Jahr in den Farben rosa bis lila zeigen. Ihre geringe Höhe von etwa 50-100 cm machen sie zu einer ausgesprochen ansprechenden Zimmerpflanze die durch ihren Farbenwechsel das ganze Jahr über interessant bleibt. ----------------ENGLISH----------------- Mimosa pudica is well known for its rapid plant movement. In the evening the leaves will fold together and the whole leaf droops downward. It then opens at sunrise. The leaves also close up under various other stimulation, such as touching, warming, or shaking.
