[View \| Download]	Brady Supercell, High Winds and Flooding - May 14th 2008 By Xanthaar Some video from a storm chase on May 14th. This chase was done without access to any data due to the rural location. I picked Brady as my start location and arriving just in time for the show, then headed West to a strengthening storm. The video shows some normal speed footage and some speeded up to show the rotation in the 'hook' area of the storm'. Later video shows me driving through Brady when the winds arrived downing large branches, fences and signposts. Not eth etornado warning for Brady aired over the radio as I'm driving through town. I did not hear this ast the time, but had been confidant that the storm was done producing tornadoes for the near future at elast given my last look at the storm. Also, it shows a drive through some of the damage, and copious rain in Lampasas with the same storm later in the evening after it stopped being tornado warned. 2 brief tornadoes were reported with this storm. In both isntances I would have been within a half mile or so of the location but I didn't see anything suspicious and I've been unable to find video to confirm that they ever existed. Still it was a great storm to be on. (Note the video was shot widescreen, and has been squashed to fit on Youtube. Once I find out how to redo this in a widescreen format on Youtube, I may update the video.
