suhani raat dhal chuki ..film dulari By mastkalandr Song :Suhaani raat dhal chuki Na jaane tum kab aaoge. Movie Name: Dulari (1949) Singer: Mohd Rafi Music Director: Naushad Lyrics: Shakeel Badayuni Producer: Kardar Prod. Director: Kardar A R Actors: Amar, Geeta Bali, Jayant, Madhubala, Nawab, Pratima Devi, Suresh Theme: Love Shakeel Badayuni (Hindi: शकील बदायुनी, Urdu: شکیل بدایونی) (August 3, 1916 April 20, 1970) was an accomplished Urdu poet, lyricist and songwriter. Main Shakeel Dil Ka Hoon Tarjuma Keh Mohabbaton Ka Hoon Raazdaan Mujhe Fakhr Hai Meri Shayari Meri Zindagi Se Juda Nahin .. Shakeel Badayuni was born in Badayun, Uttar Pradesh. His father, Mohammed Jamaal Ahmed Sokhta Qadiri wanted him to have a good career, thus he arranged Arabic, Urdu, Persian, and Hindi tuition for Shakeel at home. His inclination towards poetry was not hereditary like other shayars. One of his distant relatives, Zia-ul-Qadiri Badayuni was a religious shayar. Shakeel was influenced by him and the contemporary environment of Badayun led him to Sher-o-Shayari. When he joined Aligarh Muslim University in 1936, he started participating in inter-college, inter-university mushairas and won frequently. In 1940, he married Salma, who was a distant relative of his and they had been living in a common house since childhood, however, the purdah system was vogue in their family and they were not close. After completing his B.A., he moved to Delhi as a supply officer, but continued participating in mushairas, earning fame nation-wide. Those were the days of shayars who wrote about the downtrodden sections of society, their upliftment, the betterment of society and all. But Shakeel had an altogether different taste - his poetry was more often not romantic and close to heart. Shakeel used to say: Together, he and Naushad became one of the most sought after composer/lyricist duos in the industry. Among the stupendous scores they churned out together, are those of Baiju Bawra (1952), Mother India (1957), and Mughal-e-Azam (1960), that stand out. Other films they scored together include Dulari (1949), Shabab (1954), Ganga Jamuna (1961), and Mere Mehboob (1963). Although Badayuni worked most extensively with Naushad, he also collaborated with Ravi and Hemant Kumar as well. His lyrics for the song Husnwale Tera Jawab Nahin and Ravi's music both won Filmfare Awards for the hit film Gharana. His other notable film with Ravi is Chaudhvin Ka Chand (1960), while Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (1962) is his biggest hit with Hemant Kumar. The title song from Chaudhvin Ka Chand, rendered by Mohammed Rafi, won Badayuni the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist in 1961. Shakeel penned numbers for around 89 films. In addition, he wrote many popular ghazals which are still sung by vocalists like Pankaj Udhas and others. Shakeel shared a close friendship with Naushad, Ravi and Ghulam Mohammed, with whom he enjoyed his life to the fullest. Unlike other shayaars, he wasn't an alcoholic. Shakeel Badayuni succumbed to diabetes complications at the age of fifty-three on April 20, 1970, leaving behind his wife, a son and a daughter. His friends, Naushad, Ahmed Zakaria, and Rangoonwala formed a trust called Yaad-e-Shakeel after his death and this trust is now the source of some income to his bereaved family Awards - 1961 Filmfare Best Lyricist Award for the song Chaudvin ka chand ho in the film Chaudhvin Ka Chand 1962 Filmfare Best Lyricist Award for the song husnwale tera jawab nahin in the film Gharana 1963 Filmfare Best Lyricist Award for the song kahin deep jale kahin dil in the film Bees Saal Baad Lyrics :- Suhaani raat dhal chuki Na jaane tum kab aaoge Jahan ki rut badal chuki Na jaane tum kab aaoge Nazaarein apni mastiyaan dikha dikhaake so gaye Sitaarein apni roshni luta lutaake kho gaye Har ek shamma jal chuki Na jaane tum kab aaoge Suhaani raat dhal chuki Na jaane tum kab aaoge Tadap rahe hai hum yahan Tadap rahe hai hum yahan tumhaare intezaar mein Tumhaare intezaar mein Fiza ka rang aa chala hai Mausam-e-bahaar mein Mausam-e-bahaar mein Hawa bhi rukh badal chuki Na jaane tum kab aaoge Suhaani raat dhal chuki Na jaane tum kab aaoge... khayalon mein kisi ke is tarah film bawre nain By mastkalandr Movie..Baware nain (1950) Singers : Geeta Dutt and Mukesh Music Director: Roshanlal Director: Kedar Sharma Cast ;RAJ Kapoor ,Cuckoo, Geeta Bali, Himmat Rai, Jaswant, Manju, Nazima, Raj Kapoor, Sharda, Vijayalaxmi Producer: Ambitions Pictures About Geeta Dutt :- The legendary nightingale with mesmerizing voice.. Geetā Dutt (Bengali: গীতা দত্ত, born Geetā Ghosh Roy Chowdhuri) [November 23, 1930 July 20, 1972] was a prominent Indian playback singer in Hindi movies in the 1950s and 60s, and also a singer of modern Bengali songs. Geeta Dutt was born in 1930 into a rich zamindār's family as Geeta Ghosh Roy Chowdhuri in Faridpur, (then in Bengal, India; now in Banglādesh). In 1942, her parents shifted to an apartment in Dādar, Bombay (now Mumbai) when she was twelve. There, composer/music director Hanumān Prasād once overheard her singing casually, and, feeling impressed, he offered to impart her training in singing. He launched her in a chorus song in Bhakta Prahlād (1946), where she sang only two lines. But her rendering of those two lines stood out. The following year, she got a major assignment as a playback singer for Do Bhāi, and her renderings in that movie brought Geeta to the forefront as a top playback singer. During Geeta's recording of songs for the movie Baazi, she met the movie's young and upcoming director, Guru Dutt. Their romance culminated in marriage on May 26, 1953. Geeta went on to sing some of her best songs in his movies while continuing to sing in various other assignments as well. Geeta and Guru Dutt had three children: Tarun (b. 1954), Arun (b. 1956), and Ninā (b. 1962). In 1957, Guru Dutt launched a movie, "Gauri",' with Geeta as its singing star. It was to be India's first movie in Cinemascope, but the project was shelved after only a few days of shooting. By then, their marriage was on the rocks, Guru Dutt had got romantically involved with Waheedā Rehmān, and Geeta had taken to drinking. The breakup of their marriage affected Geeta's singing career. In 1964, Guru Dutt died from a combination of alcohol and an overdose of sleeping pills. (His death was widely perceived as a suicide following two earlier attempts[6].) Geeta then suffered a serious nervous breakdown, and also ran into financial problems. She tried to resume her singing career, cutting discs at Durgā Pujā, and giving stage shows. She also performed in a leading role in a Bengali movie, Bhadu Bharan (1967), and sang admirably for a movie, Anubhav (1971), which turned out to her final performance to the music of Kanu Roy. Geeta died of cirrhosis of the liver on July 20, 1972...wikipedia Lyrics :-Khayalon mein kisi ke is tarah aaya nahi karte Kisi ko bewafa ke tadpaya nahi karte.. Khayalon mein kisi ke.. ABOUT KAVI PRADEEP ;-Kavi Pradeep (कवि प्रदीप) (6 February 1915 - 11 December 1998) was a popular Indian poet and film lyricist, most known for his patriotic song, Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo (O! the people of my motherland!), written as tribute to the soldiers who had died defending the country, during the Sino-Indian War. The song was famously performed live, by Lata Mangeshkar, in the presence of Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru at the Ramlila grounds, New Delhi, on Republic Day, 26 January 1963 . and moved him to tears , and a copy of the soundtrack spool was also gifted to him on the occasion. His first recognition, for his patriotic song, "Chal chal re naujawan" (Come on ye Youth), in film Bandhan (1940), though it was for writing a daringly patriotic song, Door Haaton aye Duniya walon (Move Away O Outsiders), in India's first golden jubilee hit, Kismet (1943), that his status as nationalistic writer got immortalized, as soon after the film's release, having provoked the ire of British government, he was forced to go underground to avoid arrest . Awards Kavi Pradeep received numerous awards throughout his life. Some of which are: "Best film lyricist" - 1961 Sangeet Natak Akademi Award - 1961 BFJA Award as Best Male Playback Singer for Jai Santoshi Maa (1975)[2] The Film Journalist Association award The National Integration Award in 1993 Dada Saheb Phalke Award - 1997-1998) Plagiarized works of Kavi Pradeep :- Many of Kavi Pradeeps works have been plagiarized in neighboring Pakistan. Songs like Hum Laye Hain Toofan se Kashti Nikal Ke, Is Desh ko rakhnaa mere bachchon sambhal ke , "Aao Bachon Tumhe Dikhayen Jhanki Hindustan Ki"' have been plagiarized almost word to word with minor changes like 'desh' to 'mulk' and avoiding references like 'Bharat', 'Hind', 'Bapu' etc.[citation needed] Legacy ;- Kavi Pradeep died at the age of 83 in Mumbai on December 11, 1998, he was survived by his wife, and two daughters, Sargam Thaker and Mitul Pradeep, who later set up the Kavi Pradeep Foundation [11].
