Berlin: Das "Magnus-Hirschfeld-Lied" /1 By Nordflut Musikalisch begleitet von Christian Arnold Krüger (Gesang) und Dietrich Bartsch (Piano) findet die Einweihung des Magnus-Hirschfeld-Ufers am 6. Mai 2008 (Ort: Lutherbrücke/Paulstraße) statt. Am 6. Mai 2008 wurde das Spreeufer zwischen Luther- und Moltkebrücke nach Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld benannt. Genau 75 Jahre zuvor hatten die Nationalsozialisten Hirschfelds „Institut für Sexualwissenschaft" geplündert, das ganz in der Nähe am heutigen Kanzleramt stand. Auf Initiative des Leben- und Schwulenverbandes Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. hatte die Bezirksverordnetenversammlung von Mitte am 21. Februar 2008 die Ehrung von Hirschfeld beschlossen. Der Sexualwissenschaftler Hirschfeld war der wohl wichtigste Vertreter der ersten Homosexuellenbewegung. 1897 gründete er das Wissenschaftlich-humanitäre Komitee, die weltweit erste Organisation, die gegen die Diskriminierung Homosexueller kämpfte. Um die Erinnerung an Hirschfeld wachzuhalten, soll zudem ein Denkmal errichtet werden. So soll ein Neuguss der Bronzebüste Hirschfelds, die die Nationalsozialisten bei der Bücherverbrennung am 10. Mai 1933 ins Feuer warfen, am Spreeufer aufgestellt werden. Der Lesben- und Schwulenverband und der Bürgermeister des Bezirkes Mitte rufen dazu auf, den Bau des Hirschfeld-Denkmals mit einer Spende zu unterstützen. Der Aufruf wird u.a. von Berlins Regierendem Bürgermeister und vom Zentralrat der Juden in Deutschland unterstützt. Magnus Hirschfeld fuit medicus et studiosus sexualitatis Germanicus. Hirschfeld pro iuribus homophylophilorum pugnavit et fuit conditor primae societatis pro defensione homophylophilorum. Sententia eius erat: Per scientiam ad iustitiam. Magnus Hirschfeld (Kolberg, 14 mei 1868 -- Nizza, 14 mei 1935) was een Duits arts en seksuoloog. Hij studeerde onder andere medicijnen en vestigde zich als arts, vanaf 1895 in Berlijn. Daar richtte hij in 1897 het Wissenschaftlich-humanitäre Komitee op dat gericht was op emancipatie van homoseksuelen. Het comité zette zich onder meer in voor hervorming van paragraaf 175 van het Duitse Wetboek van Strafrecht, dat seks tussen mannen verbood. Koop - Come to me (OFFICIAL VIDEO) HQ By KoopFilm Koop is Oscar Simonsson & Magnus Zingmark. When listening to Koops music it's somehow easy to believe that it's played by a small orchestra, but in fact the music is based on samples. Thousands of small clips from records puzzled together into new songs. All the drums, strings, horn sections and choires are actually sampled! This is a very time consuming way to make music (it's one of the reasons it takes such long time to make a koop album), but it's the only way to create the surreal Koop sound. One thing though, that for sure aren't sampled, is the vocals. Many singers has blessed the Koop albums with their talent, and on Koop Islands the singers are : Ane Brun, Yukimi Nagano, Hilde Louise Asbjornsen, Rob Gallagher and Mikael Sundin. Come to me is sung by Yukimi Nagano and is taken from the album "Koop Islands". Marcus Söderlund directed the video in Stockholm.
