Year - 2001 Karunesh is a new age / ambient musician born in Cologne, Germany in 1956. His music has strong "Asian and Indian" influences prevalent throughout, with liberal use of Indian instruments (like the sitar for example). Karunesh released his first album 'Sounds of the Heart' in 1984, which quickly became a classic in the New Age genre. More albums followed and Karunesh became established as one of the best known artists in that genre. His accident also prompted him to choose music as a career instead of graphic design.
