Fuel (in a nongaseous state) does not burn directly. When you apply heat to a fuel, it produces a gas. This gas, combined with oxygen in the air, burns. Understanding the concept of the fire triangle is very important in correctly constructing and maintaining a fire. The three sides of the triangle represent air, heat and fuel. If you remove any of these, the fire will go out. The correct ratio of these components is very important for a fire to burn at its greatest capability. The only way to learn this ratio is to practice. SITE SELECTION AND PREPARATION You will have to decide what site and arrangement to use. Before building a fire consider — * The area (terrain and climate) in which you are operating. * The materials and tools available. * How much time you have. * Why you need a fire. * How close is the enemy. Look for a dry spot that — * Is protected from the wind. * Is suitably placed in relation to your shelter (if any). * Will concentrate the heat in the direction you desire. * Has a supply of wood or other fuel available. If you are in a wooded or brush-covered area, clear the brush and scrape the surface soil from the spot you have selected. Clear a circle at least 1 meter in diameter so there is little chance of the fire spreading. If time allows, construct a fire wall using logs or rocks. This wall will help to reflector direct the heat where you want it. It will also reduce flying sparks and cut down on the amount of wind blowing into the fire. However, you will need enough wind to keep the fire burning. CAUTION: Do not use wet or porous rocks as they may explode when heated. In some situations, you may find that an underground fireplace will best meet your needs. It conceals the fire and serves well for cooking food. To make an underground fireplace or "Dakota fire hole" — * Dig a hole in the ground with sloping sides around 45 degrees but deep enough to shield all of the fuel. * On the upwind side of this hole, poke or dig a large connecting hole for ventilation. * Build your fire in the hole but be mindful that with reduced ventilation the fuel needs to be more loosely layered. If you are in a snow-covered area, use green logs to make a dry base for your fire. Trees with wrist-sized trunks are easily broken in extreme cold. Cut or break several green logs and lay them side by side on top of the snow. Add one or two more layers. Place the top layer of logs opposite those below it.

Quick Loose Curls Tutorial

Hey everyone, Its been nearly 2 weeks since my last video! Ahh so sorry. Been caught up with craploads of work indeedy. Lost 1.5kg from work & stress.. -_- not good. I've been wearing my hair lately. I forgot how much softer a person can look with this hairstyle. I'm very low maintenance with hair so even if its hair curling- I make sure I do it all in less than 10 minutes. The technique used in this video is similar to what I have shown you guys before but with little tweaks here and there. The only difference is that we are not working in horizontal sections. We are working in vertical sections and turning outwards mainly. The individual curls don't look perfect but the end result looks great because hair looks volumized but length is kept. Great for most hair lengths. I've never been a fan of neat curls- the spontaneous and slightly messy look has always been more of my preference. yes i made dis... this video will save you time in tha morning because i cut out all of the unwanted talking lol... getting up early in tha morning and then working out for ten minutes in the morning is the most effective way to loose weight... make sure you watch what you eat also. just a reminder: 1)warm up: jog in place moving both your arms and legs for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or do 30 jumping jack or both 2)lunges: make sure your knees does not pass your toes 3)calves: just raise your heel 4)abs: use ur ab to curl up and do not rock 5)face: helps you get rid of those double chin or prevent it 6)cool down: stretch at the end to let your body know that you are done working out so you wont get cramps. **for better result, after school or work do 10 - 30 minutes of cardio, walking, dancing ect. to loose up to 2 pounds a week**

'4 Minutes' Hip Hop Dance - Madonna + Justin Timberlake & Timbaland (To Save The World) Glee

After seeing this innocent dance video, business execs at Madonna's record label (Warner Music Group) decided that this infringed on the copyrights of her song, and therefore had my video removed from YouTube. After over a month of battling with them, I won the copyright dispute, and my video has been restored in full. People, never underestimate the power of your voice. Sometimes, the little guy CAN win. Never give up. Don't let these big companies push us around. Thank you to everyone who watches my videos, and thank you for honouring me with making my channel as popular as it is.
