[View \| Download]	The Struggle of Living By Salliewalker Please read before watching. Aya Kito was a 15 year-old girl when she developed SCD (Spinal Cerebellar Degeneration). Slowly over time she wouldn't be able to walk, talk, write, and eat independently. Yet through all this her mind remains intact. Although she suffered many hardships, such as emotional breakdowns, times of being scared that she won't be able to walk and talk one day, and etc., she still was strong and overcame them with her optimism. Since SCD was an incurable disease (and still is), it took her life when she was bedridden in the hospital at age 25. This is the story of her struggle. P.S. This is my very first music video, so don't be too critical with my work! I know there are several flaws in there, including that I couldn't add the credits with the song and had to put it after it was over. I also know that I should've added more of her emotionally triumphant and dejected scenes in there, while taking out some of which refer to her disease. The song is In The End, by Linkin Park--the actual words to the song for people who've heard it isn't what was intended to go with it, hence the reason that it is piano instrumental. It's just that it simply fit the mood and flow of the video. Aya Kito was diagnosed with a disease called Spinocerebellar ataxia when she was 15 years old. The disease causes the person to lose control over their body, but because the person can retain all mental ability the disease acts as a prison. Aya discovers this disastrous news as the disease has already developed. There is no cure. Through family, medical examinations and rehabilitations, and finally succumbing to the disease, Aya must cope with the disease and live on with life until her death at the age of 25.
