Tang Lung (Bruce Lee) is sent from Hong Kong to Rome to help his sick friends' niece Miss Chen and some family friends whose restaurant is being targeted by the local gangsters and forcing them to sign a contract which will make the Mafia boss gain control of the property. After their offers to purchase the restaurant are repeatedly turned down, the gangsters resort to intimidation. Tang Lung fends off the local gangsters and gains Miss Chen's interest, who up till now has looked down on Tang for his innocence from his hesitance of putting his savings into a bank to unknowingly going home with a prostitute whilst touring Rome with Miss Chen. The Mafia boss, played by John Benn, sends a gunman but Tang Lung defeats him with his throwing wooden darts and fractures his neck. The Mafia boss then goes to the restaurant himself along with all his gangster thugs to make Miss Chen sign the contract. Tang Lung defeats them all with his fighting skills with help from a Bo Staff and two Nunchakus. He then warns that if the boss comes to threaten his friends once more, he will take drastic actions. After a failed second attempt by the gunman at Miss Chen's apartment, who now sports a neck brace but manages to escape, Tang Lung and his friends goes to save Miss Chen after being kidnapped by the Mafia boss to sign the contract at his headquarters. The Mafia boss then hires foreign martial artists who have trouble communicating with each other, played by Robert Wall and In Sik Whang, to challenge Tang Lung but he defeats them both with help from friends in a countryside near the Colosseum. The final duel takes place between Tang Lung and the best of the foreign martial artists, Colt (Chuck Norris), in the Colosseum itself. Tang Lung kills Colt, but covers his body with Colt's white gi to show his respect and admiration, and the Mafia boss is finally arrested whilst the other villians are killed. Having solved the problem, Tang Lung departs Rome alone. Lawrence John Project - Georgie Boy - George Best tribute song Written and produced by Lawrence John. Download available at I-Tunes, Amazon, Napster, Emusic, Rhapsody, Medianet, Songcast, CD Baby. Copyright IMRO/ PRS/ MCPS lawrencejohnproject@gmail.com This is a Nashville production, of a song I wrote the night after George died in November 2005. I was walking my dog, around midnight and found myself singing oh "Georgie Boy", to the tune of "Danny Boy". I'm not sure if I was actually singing it out loud, or just hearing it in my head, but remembering that Danny Boy, had been played at some Northern Ireland International football matches, I thought this might be an appropriate melody for a tribute song to George and so rushed home and put pen to paper. What followed was a heartfelt tribute to George, written through a constant stream of tears. (we're a sentimental lot us Irish) I was surprised though, how quickly the whole song came together, It only took about 20 minutes, as I decided after just a verse and chorus that nothing further need be said. I thought at that point, I had managed to sum up quite succinctly, what I and countless other fans the world over, must have been feeling and saying about George on hearing the sad news of his death. George had been a guest on a chat show I had hosted 10 years earlier and I never forgot, that after he missed his plane to Belfast on the day of the show, he caught a later flight and paid for the ticket out of his own pocket, refusing reimbursement, saying it was HIS fault he missed the plane. (he was probably chatting up another Miss World at the time) Before Georgie Boy, I had only toyed with songwriting, but had been producing records for a couple of years and had a recording studio booked for just a couple of days after George's death, coincidently to produce an uptempo dance remix of "You Raise Me Up", a song which was not only based around the uplifting part of "Danny Boy", but which would be sung at George's funeral. Georgie Boy, was played by a number of local radio stations in the run up to George's funeral, but it was naturally eclipsed by the beautiful and hugely successful tribute songs, by Brian Kennedy and Peter Corry, You Raise Me Up and Bring Him Home. I didn't write the song for monetary gain, I wrote it simply as a personal tribute to a great sportsman, but I liked the finished song so much, I decided to release it for the benefit of the newly founded charity, The George Best Foundation. Despite being totally eclipsed by the aforementioned tributes, the song still managed to make £1,000 profit, which I donated to the Foundation. My original production, sung by Thomas Gillespie and featuring some string players from the Ulster Orchestra, seemed to capture the sombre mood in the days after George's death and leading up to his state funeral, but over the following few years, I began to feel it was a little too sombre. So, as I have always been proud of the song, I thought I would rearrange it in a lighter more wistful mood and bring it into the main catalogue of songs I have written and produced in Nashville in the last few years. While still sad and emotional, it's just a little brighter than my original production. I hope you like it and if so, you can purchase the song on download from all major download sites. I beat the Running Man (proof inside) I finally beat the running man in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time after over 10 years of attempts. Ask me anything. ------------------------------------ Question: How did you do that?!? Answer: Well, the answer is simple, really. 1) Challenge the running man to a race as older Link. 2) Return back 7 years and become younger Link. 3) Wait at the bridge for nearly 7 IN-GAME years (about 1 week in real life; see Q/A a few bands below this). 4) ??? 5) Profit. ------------------------------------ Question: If I leave my console running for a full week, will it overheat? Answer: That's an unlikely (but serious) possibility. Before you attempt this, make sure you understand the risks. * I'm NOT responsible for any damage caused by attempting this! * ------------------------------------ Question: Who first discovered this? Answer: I was actually the first one to discover this technique! I discovered this in mid-January, 2009, less than a week before this video was uploaded. I performed this a second time and recorded my results for you all to see on Youtube. Don't believe that I was the first to discover this? Look at any other Running Man video on Youtube, or even on the internet. This one was uploaded first. Anyone else claiming to have figured this out first is lying to you. Let it be known that RustySporks/faramir77 on Youtube/GameFAQs found this out first. I'm sick of hearing people claiming this video as their own. ------------------------------------ Question: What do you get from doing this? Nothing? Answer: For almost a year and a half, I thought you would get nothing from this. However, in late May 2010, I found that you can access a strange room in Zora's Domain after beating the Running Man. I made a video showing this, which you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hB8W1BV4Xnc ------------------------------------ Question: I heard that it's impossible to beat the Running Man. Answer: Clearly this video proves that to be wrong. If you truly don't believe me, try this yourself. Be sure to tell me in a comment that it worked. ------------------------------------ Question: It's obvious that you used Gameshark/Action Replay/other cheating device. Didn't you? Answer: Very honestly, no. I swear on my life that I did not use any type of cheating device to beat him. Guess again. ------------------------------------ Question: Wait, if you went back to the past, and then waited for seven years, how did you become older Link? And how do you have all your older Link items? Answer: That's an interesting question with a simple answer. While you're sitting at the bridge, immediately after 7 years passes, younger Link automatically turns into older Link. There is nothing in between, it just blinks and younger Link becomes older Link. Your items, sword, and clothes equipped change immediately as well, to whatever it would be if you went and pulled out the Master Sword. Speaking of which, you have the Master Sword as well, which is weird, I know. If you go to the Temple of Time, the Master Sword is strangely not there, so if you go there you can still put the Master Sword away and become younger Link again. ------------------------------------ Question: So you say I have to wait the equivalent of seven years, right? How long is that in real life? Answer: It is about one week in real life. One in-game day from dawn to the next dawn is 4 minutes, so just do the math from there. There are about 2556 days in 7 years. I recorded this on an emulated copy of the game (I didn't want to leave my poor old N64 running for days and days). There was an option on the emulator to turn off "FPS Limit", which made this take much less time. ------------------------------------ Question: Is it possible to play the Sun's Song multiple times instead of waiting for a week? Answer: Although I haven't tried myself, I've heard from [fairly dedicated] people that playing the Sun's Song multiple times does work. However, keep in mind that there are about 2556 in-game days in the 7 in-game years that you must pass. The Sun's Song only makes time go forward 12 hours, so you must play the Sun's Song twice for one day to pass. That's 5112 Sun's Songs. It would be much easier just to wait than spend your time playing the Sun's Song over and over again. ------------------------------------ Question: If I wait a week anywhere, will young Link become adult Link, allowing me to become adult Link before completing the first few temples? Answer: No. Nintendo designed it that if you wait a week during the Running Man race as younger Link, you'll turn into an adult. You can't do this unless you've started the race with the Running Man (which has to be as an adult), with the timer going and everything. LoZ : A Link to the Past (GBA) [Four Swords Boss Fight, 2nd Ending] Back when I got my GBA, I got this game first... so naturally, I played the hell out of it. Unfortunately, back when I got it, no one else did, so we couldn't link up to play the Four Swords game. A few years later, a few people I knew got it so I was able to unlock the extra Four Sword Palace added in the game. This video is just the boss fight vs all 4 Links you have to fight after getting all 4 swords and the 2nd ending that follows after. I lost 1 and 1/2 hearts, but I was kinda cheap near the end to speed up the fight (Cane of Byrna). The 2nd ending doesn't really have spoilers (unless you count seeing the dark world bosses spoilers). Evel Knievel at Caesar's Palace While in Las Vegas, Nevada, to watch Dick Tiger fight a middleweight title fight, Knievel first saw the fountains at Caesar's Palace and decided to jump them. To get an audience with the casino's CEO Jay Sarno, Knievel created a fictitious corporation called Evel Knievel Enterprises and three fictitious lawyers to make phone calls to Sarno. Knievel also placed phone calls to Sarno claiming to be from ABC-TV and Sports Illustrated inquiring about the jump. Sarno finally agreed to meet Knievel and the deal was set for Knievel to jump the fountains on December 31, 1967. After the deal was set, Knievel tried to get ABC to air the event live on Wide World of Sports. ABC declined, but said that if Knievel had the jump filmed and it was as spectacular as he said it would be, they would consider using it later. Knievel used his own money to have actor/director John Derek produce a film of the Caesar's jump. To keep costs low, Derek used his then-wife, Linda Evans, as one of the camera operators. It was Evans who filmed Knievel's famous landing. On the morning of the jump, Knievel stopped in the casino and placed a single $100 dollar bet on the blackjack table, which he lost, stopped by the bar and got a shot of Wild Turkey and then headed outside where he was joined by several members of the Caesar's staff, as well as two scantily clad showgirls. After doing his normal pre-jump show and a few warm up approaches, Knievel began his real approach. When he hit the takeoff ramp, he felt the motorcycle unexpectedly decelerate. The sudden loss of power on the takeoff caused Knievel to come up short and land on the safety ramp which was supported by a van. This caused the handlebars to be ripped out of his hands as he tumbled over them onto the pavement where he skidded into the Dunes parking lot. As a result of the crash, Knievel received a crushed pelvis and femur, fractures to his hip, wrist and both ankles and a concussion that kept him in a coma for 29 days.
