It soon added drummer Rikke Hart and guitarist James Isham. The band played a style of rock futuristic, even dressing with armor when touched. In 1984, they recorded an EP of six songs called Rock In Victory. After a while, David Caro replaced Isham, arriving in time for one of the first changes in the trajectory of a band. The band managed to secure a recording contract with Enigma Records http://www.enigmarecords.com.au/ in 1985. When they discovered that there was another band with the same name, changed hers to Gardian (without "U"). According to Bach, the "U" was omitted "to maintain the seven letters spelling according to numerology used by the band Stryper."
