KUELAP ~ Desde El Corazon De Nuestro Pueblo ~ Musica Andina By katinka0126 1988 es el año que sirve de escenario para ver el inicio de KUELAP, sus integrantes proceden de los 2 conos opuestos de Lima, Cono Norte y Cono Sur, lugares que son golpeados por la política económica y social (al igual que todo el país). Los miembros fundadores de KUELAP fueron: Carlos Pérez Alfaro, Jaime López Pastor, Manuel Rodríguez, Rolando y Augusto Chávez Espinoza. Un gran amigo y admirador incondicional del grupo, Julio Escalante Rojas, será quien dé el nombre KUELAP, una de los mas fuertes razones para llevar este nombre es rorar otra parte de nuestra cultura, no solo hubo un avanzado desarrollo de nuestras culturas pre colombinas en la Costa, ni tan solo en aquellas ubicadas en la Sierra; en nuestra Selva la gigantesca fortaleza de KUELAP se halla situada en el distrito de Tingo, provincia de Luya, departamento de Amazonas, a una altura de 3,000 metros sobre el nivel del mar; en la cima de una alta eminencia rocosa conformante de un ramal de la cordillera central del Perú. Al pie de dicho cerro, corren las aguas del Río Utcubamba afluente del Marañón, por un profundo y estrecho valle de clima templado y que a pesar de haber sido descubierta en el año 1,843 hasta hoy en día se podría decir que no se le da la importancia arquitectónica, histórica y cultural que representa, centrándose casi el total apoyo en las culturas desarrolladas al sur de nuestra sierra...
