Omnislash Vs. Lion Heart Vs. Grand Lethal Vs. Blitz Ace By Bizkit047 Download: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0SHJ0CBQ I didn't see anything like this on Youtube, so I figured I'd make it, after recently replaying FFVIII. This video displays the ultimate Limit Breaks of each main character in Final Fantasy VII-X. Although in FFX it's called Overdrives and I forget what it's called in FFIX. Anyway, the video just means which do you like the most? It doesn't mean which do you think is more powerful or whatever. These are only Limits for the main characters. None of the other party members from the game are shown. So no saying "hey (insert non-main character here's Limit) does more damage than (insert main character Limit here), why didn't you show it?". Also, don't go commenting about which Final Fantasy is the best, or which is the worst, or blah blah blah. We don't need idiot fanboys worshipping a game and arguing. Here's a tiny description of the Limits below: FFVII: Cloud's Omnislash is his final Limit Break, and his most powerful. He strikes the enemy 15 times with powerful slashes. Omnislash pretty much takes out every enemy in the game, assuming you have a decent strength stat. If you're hitting at 9999, then yea, everything dies in one Limit, except Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon (optional bosses). FFVIII and FFX both have final Limits/Overdrives that are similar to Omnislash. I went through the trouble of recording the "final" Sephiroth fight only because I originally recorded it against Emerald Weapon, but it looks pretty crappy when it's not against something...smaller. FFVIII: Squall's (known in Kingdom Hearts as Leon) ultimate Limit Break finisher is Lion Heart (not to be confused with his last name, which is Leonhart). Based on Omnislash, Squall powers up for a massive amount of slashes he unleashes on the enemy, which is 17 hits including the two finishing strikes. His Renzokuken move before Lion Heart is his normal Limit Break. At the end of Renzokuken, depending on how many of Squall's Limit Break finishers you have (up to 4), one may get chosen randomly. Depsite what some believe, the finisher that is chosen is random. However, the probability of getting a finisher can be changed depending on certain factors (such as HP). As with Onmislash, Lion Heart will pretty much take out everything in the game in one useage, except for Omega Weapon. In fact, it takes about 4 Lion Hearts to take out Omega Weapon's 1 million HP. Why couldn't Leon get a cool Limit in KH2? All 4 of his Limits are pretty awesome. FFIX: This game handles attacks way differently. Attacks only hit once, there's no massive Limits that hit for 9999 multiple times. To compensate for that, bosses have much less HP than in other Final Fantasies. I almost didn't record this one, not because I don't like the game, but because it was very short and not that exciting. Either way, Zidane's ultimate Limit is Grand Lethal. The only time you can use these type of attacks is when your character goes into Trance, which is indicated by the bar under the HP bar. When you go into Trance, most characters will have a normal command on their menu switched with something else. Some believe that making Limits underpowered was the right thing to do, after FFVII and FFVIII's overpowered Limits. I'm unsure of the name of the Limits in Final Fantasy IX. I forget if they're still called Limit Breaks in there or something different. Also, I faught a regular enemy because I didn't have a decent save slot near anything interesting. But as surprising as it seems, those stupid sheep things are the toughest random enemies you'll encounter (at least IIRC). FFX: Limit Breaks are called Overdrives in Final Fantasy X, to give it a different feel. Just like with some of FFVIII's Limit Breaks, you can interact with most Overdrives. Tidus' last Overdrive is Blitz Ace. This is more like Omnislash than anyting. Tidus' Overdrive only hits 9 times. If curious, FFX allows you to break the damage limit of 9999 to 99999. Though achieving this isn't really easy. The strikes of Tidus' Blitz Ace hit for much less damage than a normal attack, but combined together along with the finisher and a maxed strength stat, it is one of the most devastating moves in the game. Fortunately, Final Fantasy X has a decent amount of optional bosses that won't die to one Blitz Ace. As for me? I prefer Lion Heart. Other than that, it goes Omnislash, then Blitz Ace, then Grand Lethal.
