Google Chrome: Lady Gaga Lady Gaga builds one of the world's largest fan bases by using the web to talk directly and openly to her community. This film celebrates Lady Gaga's special and unmediated relationship with her fans, the Little Monsters. The making of this film is a demonstration of the power of the web in its own right. The entire project, beginning with Lady Gaga's shoot in NYC on May 8th, to shipping materials to the television networks for air, took 10 days. Within hours of the release of her new single "Edge of Glory" on May 9th, fans began uploading videos on YouTube, making the song their own by dancing to it, singing it and playing it on all kinds of instruments. Lady Gaga then posted a message on her website asking for more videos to be used in the film project. Fans responded within minutes and uploaded hundreds more videos. Back in the editing room, in real time as fan videos streamed in, editors were putting them into the film. The film was completed on May 18th in time to air during Lady Gaga's performance on the season finale of Saturday Night Live, and to also live on the web. Tribute To Oprah Winfrey I have seen Oprah on TV since i was a little girl... I was a 1 year old baby when the show aired for the first time! hehe.. I've always enjoyed her shows, and very often been inspired by them. She is so amazing! I absolutely admire this woman! For a long time I've wanted to go to her show.. that would be such an extraordinary experience! Not only would it be going to USA... but also meeting the woman I would most like to be like... I try not to judge people and try seeing things from their side most of the time... I take great pleasure in contributing to charity... I sponsor a little boy in Uganda, and have been for 4 years, and it is the greatest feeling in the world... to be saving a human life! And to get to see how he does in school, what he likes or dislikes, get drawings and christmas cards... it's just so extraordinary :) I also recently started volunteering for the non profit that I am sponsoring for.. I go there when I have time to.. What I do there depends on what needs to be done that day.. or a project that is always there.. i think thats a good way to describe it.. I have been printing out envelopes for sponsors to put mail from the children in, matching un-sponsored childrens pictures to their profiles and putting them together, its all matched by codes of some sort.. sometimes i dont find the childs profile.. so it goes to "not found". I also was putting bills to sponsors in plastic envelopes.. This is just one thing that is possible to do in volunteering.. this way fits for me.. to be in an office and do that kind of work.. maybe i will do something else later on :) I also love giving gifts for no specific reason..i mean, no specific day (birthday, christmas, mothers day, fathers day) I just love to make people happy... I love spreading a message to make people aware, I just bought 2 documentaries that I love and i am hosting screenings for friends and family :) So, maybe i am feeling that there is some glympse of similarity in me and Oprah.. i dont know.. but i love what she does, and if i would swap lifes with anyone, it would be with hers lol.. but I want to be me,, you know, but I mean that she has the power to do what i would absolutely love to do... and i love that she is using that power, and enjoying it and appreciating every single bit of it :-) I just bought Oprah's 20th anniversary collection DVD's.. and I'm so thankful they made that.. now I can see her whenever I want to, and find scenes I love the most faster. and I can share them with friends and family :-) (don't own my own personal VHS or DVD recorder for TV.. so that's why I love to have the collection too :) ) I love that she talks about the scenes/ shows.. tells her story about it etc.. I think that is almost like meeting her... although it's not the same as actually meeting.. And I like the fact that she is exactly 31 years and 1 day older than me hehe.. we are in the same starsign :) aquarius... just a fun fact for a fan hehe.. nothing spectacular maybe..
