Although he responds well to direct suggestion, he responds especially well to metaphorical and symbolic patter. He graciously agreed to be filmed, so we could study his responses. GENERAL INFORMATION The video begins with the client in a highly suggestible state. "The Zone" induction you see in this video was created by me on the spur of the moment. It was neither done from a script nor by rote. It was improvised based on the information given to me by the client whose eyes remain open for most of the induction. The words "zone" and "zoned" are not pre-conditioned suggestions. Although conversational inductions can be done far more subtly than this, for demonstrational purposes, I chose to use embedded suggestions that can be easily noticed by viewers; so Gabriel's reactions can be easily compared to the implied suggestions. This is an extremely simplified, basic conversational re-induction structure that can be used when hypnotizing someone who has a casual interest in sports and a familiarity or facility with entering hypnoidal states. A far more elaborate, covert structure would be used as an initial conversational induction with someone who is not familiar with the state of hypnosis. Do not use this specific induction on professional athletes or clients who are visiting you for sports related hypnosis. Can anyone tell me why you shouldn't use this particular (zone) induction on athletes who are currently involved in competitive (as opposed to casual recreation) sports? Melting salt with Induction heater By Uzzors2k Demonstrating the high temperature of the work piece by melting salt in a nut. When the salt starts melting at 800C the nut is only red. The nut glows yellow after a few more minutes (not in the vid.) indicating around 1000C, at which point the salt evaporates quickly. Induction heating was done with my new heater. When a copper pendulum with strips cut into it is swung between the same magnets, it is not slowed nearly as much as the solid pendulum. This is because the cuts in the copper prevent large eddy currents from forming. Only eddy currents smaller than the strips of copper can be formed. The radio signal is transmitted through the induced magnetic field caused by the current in the wires. The signal is only received when there is a magnetic flux through the receiving coil, and thus no sound is heard when the coils are perpendicular to each other.
