[View \| Download]	Hypocrisy - Eraser By Zyklonzone En un principio Peter Tägtgren formó Seditious en 1988, una banda de death metal donde él era quien ejercía todos los puestos en la banda, muy influenciado por su etapa como miembro en Malevolent Creation y la movida death metalera de Florida con grupos como Death, Obituary o Morbid Angel. Finalmente y sin dar a luz nada, en 1990, Peter Tägtgren forma uno de los grupos más importantes del death metal melódico y del black metal. Hypocrisy se convierte en un grupo oscuro y destructivo. Sus primeros trabajos de puro death metal con partes ambientales y melódicas, y con toques del black metal más potente, consiguen crear trabajos considerados clásicos. Desde la salida de Magnus de su puesto como vocalista, Peter toma su relevo convirtiendo a Hypocrisy en un grupo de puro death metal melódico. Algo curioso en Hypocrisy, es la utilización de teclados y sintetizadores, algo muy común en todos sus álbumes, lo que hace la banda además de melódica por sus solos y riffs, que sea mas atmosférica, los cambios de voces de Peter son tan pegadizos al ritmo de los teclados de fondo y las guitarras que hace que Hypocrisy sea más interesante de escuchar. Sus últimos trabajos desde que empezaron a hacer death metal melódico en 1996, han tratado temas de abducciones y alienígenas. No mucho antes, en su último álbum más orientado hacia el death metal puro de 1994, ya trataban temas paranormales, de dimensiones desconocidas y secuestros sin resolver.
