100 Modeling Solutions #92 - Pack and Go By dicksham i suggest we store all files into a specifc project folder. However, sometimes, we may reuse some old files or share files with other engineers, which have been stored in other folders, maybe in a company's server. In other words, the product/assembly file will be linked to some files not in the project folder. Very often, when we need to send out the assembly file to our vendors for evaluation/quotation, we may forget to send those files. To avoid this, let the system find out all and "duplicate" them into a separate folder. It is commonly called as "Pack and Go" hi-resolution video can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?izzynumyefd the demo project folder can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?00vhmqkdjkm (workbench: all) Tags: assembly, cad, catia, dassault, demo, design, free, go, help, hints, link, modeling, online, pack, solid, solidworks, surface, tips, training, tricks, tutorial, v5 1 Downloads - Last from: http://downthisvideo.com/ (Your Blog here!) |

100 Modeling Solutions #49 - Temp. Disable Auto-Detection By dicksham hi-resolution video can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?zxnkkownz2u Here is the way to disable the auto-detection (geometrical constraints) in sketcher mode "temporarily": - Press "shift" key on the keyboard while drawing a sketch, so that the auto-detection will be temporarily disabled and all green projection lines will disappear; you can draw the sketch freely without snapping and all unwanted geometrical constraints will be created. Remember to release the "shift" key while closing a profile, otherwise the last point may not collide with the start point.
