2 Year Old Girl Answering Questions About Islam! [Must See!] READ AFTER WATCHING: Concerning the question about where Allaah is, some people may dispute the answer to that question so here is the answer to those whom disputes it: ''Then He Istawâ (rose over) towards the heaven and made them seven heavens and He is the All-Knower of everything.'' [2:29] They claim in their attack (p. 5) that Allah said: "Do you feel secure that He (Allaah), who is above the heavens, will not cause the earth to sink with you[?]" (67:16) and this is a clear example of the manipulation of the literal meanings of the Holy Qur'an, which does not say "above the heavens" (man fawq al-samawat) but "in the heaven" (man fi al-sama'): see for example Pickthall or Yusuf Ali, which are the translations universally recognized and accepted by English-speaking Muslims, and also Shakir and Daryabadi: PICKTHALL: Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? YUSUF ALI: Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? SHAKIR: Are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not make the earth to swallow you up? Then lo! it shall be in a state of commotion. DARYABADI: Are you secure that He Who is in the heaven willk not sink the earth with you, and then it should quake? Malik in his Muwatta' and Muslim in his Sahih relate that Mu`awiya ibn al-Hakam came to the Prophet and told him: "I am very newly from the Jahiliyya, and now Allah has brought Islam," and he proceeded to ask about various Jahiliyya practices, until at last he said that he had slapped his slave girl, and asked if he should free her, as was obligatory if she was a believer. The Prophet requested that she be brought, and then asked her, "Where is Allah?" and she said, "In the sky (fi al-sama')"; whereupon he asked her, "Who am I?" and she said, "You are the Messenger of Allah"; at which he said, "Free her, for she is a believer." Is there anything more clearer than that? If you say: ''but Allaah doesnt actually mean that He rose over the heavens.'', well, let me tell you one thing, who gave you permission to make tafseer of the Quran? No one. Muhammad saws never said anything about it and he is the most correct in any aspects of Islam, nor did the great scholars whom made tafseer of the Quran say anything about it. So please do not say anything without knowledge. Now the answer to the question about the Prophet's birthday: we know that the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) were the people who loved the Prophet most. Was it reported that Abu Bakr, who was the closest of people to him and the one who loved him the most, celebrated the birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? Was it reported that 'Umar, who ruled for twelve years, or 'Uthmaan, did this? Was it reported that 'Ali, his relative and foster son, did this? Was it reported that any of the Sahaabah did this? No, by Allaah! Is it because they were not aware of its importance, or did they not truly love the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? No one would say such a thing except one who has gone astray and is leading others astray. Did any of the imaams -- Abu Haneefah, Maalik, al-Shaafi'i, Ahmad, al-Hasan al-Basri, Ibn Seereen -- do this or command others to do it or say that it was good? By Allaah, no! It was not even mentioned during the first and best three centuries. If you are saying: ''It is good, what is wrong with it? its not bid'ah I only do it because I love the Prophet and it takes me closer to him in love!'' then you must know that every little thing we can do to come closer in love to our beloved Prophet he would have told us to do it! So please, love the Prophet by obeying him, not disobeying him. Smart girl answering random questions about Islam in New York, US&A. English subtitles. My Prayer - Step by Step Guide to Salah - Teach Me How to Worship God The My Prayer project is an initiative designed to assist Muslims grasp the basic knowledge about prayer and how to perform it. This is made possible through 2 mediums, a step by step instructional DVD and book. The DVD is professionally filmed, directed and produced, offering viewers high quality educational content. My Prayer DVD is narrated by Sheikh Bilal Dannoun, guiding viewers through the actions of making ablution (wudoo) and performing prayer in a simple and easy to understand style. Other aspects of prayer, such as the pre-requisites of prayer will be discussed, giving viewers a complete overview of what is required to perform their prayers in the best and correct manner. This DVD as well as the Booklet will be available for FREE to organisations and individuals all across the globe. http://www.myprayer.org.au Prayer is a unique training and developmental program which, if well and devotedly performed, can achieve for a Muslim many valuable spiritual, physical, and ethical gains. Salah is the daily ritual prayer enjoined upon all Muslims as one of the five Pillars of Islam. It is performed five times a day by all Muslims. Salah is a precise worship, different from praying on the inspiration of the moment. Muslims pray or, perhaps more correctly, worship five times throughout the day: · Between first light and sunrise. · After the sun has passed the middle of the sky. · Between mid-afternoon and sunset. · Between sunset and the last light of the day. · Between darkness and midnight. Each prayer may take at least 5 minutes, but it may be lengthened as a person wishes. Muslims can pray in any clean environment, alone or together, in a mosque or at home, at work or on the road, indoors or out. Under special circumstances, such as illness, journey, or war, certain allowances in the prayers are given to make their offering easy. Having specific times each day to be close to God helps Muslims remain aware of the importance of their faith, and the role it plays in every part of life. Muslims start their day by cleaning themselves and then standing before their Lord in prayer. The prayers consist of recitations from the Quran in Arabic and a sequence of movements: standing, bowing, prostrating, and sitting. All recitations and movements express submission, humility, and homage to God. The various postures Muslims assume during their prayers capture the spirit of submission; the words remind them of their commitments to God. The prayer also reminds one of belief in the Day of Judgment and of the fact that one has to appear before his or her Creator and give an account of their entire life. This is how a Muslim starts their day. In the course of the day, Muslims dissociate themselves form their worldly engagements for a few moments and stand before God. This brings to mind once again the real purpose of life. These prayers serve as a constant reminder throughout the day to help keep believers mindful of God in the daily stress of work, family, and distractions of life. Prayer strengthens faith, dependence on God, and puts daily life within the perspective of life to come after death and the last judgment. As they prepare to pray, Muslims face Mecca, the holy city that houses the Kaaba (the ancient place of worship built by Abraham and his son Ishmael). At the end of the prayer, the shahada (testimony of faith) is recited, and the greeting of peace, "Peace be upon all of you and the mercy and blessings of God," is repeated twice. Though individual performance of salah is permissible, collective worship in the mosque has special merit and Muslims are encouraged to perform certain salah with others. With their faces turned in the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca, the worshipers align themselves in parallel rows behind the imam, or prayer leader, who directs them as they execute the physical postures coupled with Quran recitations. Although not religiously mandated, individual devotional prayers, especially during the night, are emphasized and are a common practice among pious Muslims.
